I think Devon really needs to slice it himself - to realize its just a gun, like any other, that will be used and then badly repaired a few times until its unusable and hangs from your wall to remind you of the good times you had with it.

Here is a suggestion find a WS that has a smuggler for hire that does all of their weapons.

Have the WS make the gun for you and have their smuggler slice it for you.
MAKE SURE TO HAVE THE WS AND/OR SMUGGLER NEVER EVER TELL YOU WHAT KIND OF SLICE YOU GOT. Then you will be none the wiser depending on what kind of tissues are used.

Or just have their smuggler slice it and you won't feel as attached to the slice and feel bad if you don't get what you want.

Just remember don't blame another smuggler we all know that there is no control over it.

Its disgusting and insulting - and I one star them as I see them because they lie counter productive to every other smuggler out there.

How does another M.Smuggler argue about risking the 'uber' weapon to slicing and the disappointment of not getting that 35dmg to other Non-Smugglers when another M.Smuggler argues against his or her own professionl?

I honestly recommend you sell the gun and get yourself a standard DE-10. Don't get caught up in the uber-game to the point where it paralyzes you.

You should get five Master Smugglers (ones you trust so they don't run away with the gun, of course ). Go have a drink at the cantina, tell them you want the gun sliced by the time you come back and NEVER to tell you which one of them sliced it.

That way, you won't have anyone to blame for the 15% speed slice you're going to get.

Oh, I 15spd the only DE-10 I sliced. Afterwards, he or she (it perhaps) acted like the world ended.

I mean, things you should be worried about are if going Imperial or Alliance Pilot is a good idea, because you know those idiots at SOE will probably make real smuggling only open to Privateer.

*That* is a conundrum..
