i think this sucks... can't wait for it to be delayed a third time to publish 15 when publish 11 turns out to be the fix for JTL because it started off broken... publish 12 will be fixing jedi again .... publish 13 will be fixing other random professions ... publish 14 will be adding more of the same blah blah...

Nail on the head my friend. They play catchup with the Publishes and then wonder why people spend more time in the forums then in the game, I used to Run home and boot up my systems to play. Now I get on and wonder "what was I on for" oh yeah restock vendors, upkeep, log off, Play Far Cry. What kills me is I Truly (like so many of you )Love this game.

Frankly enough is enough. How long are we supposed to sit here listening to the same tired repeated stories again and again? To be brutaly frank the game is a total shambles...there is absolutley no game balance present,no balance between the classes and in all honesty barely any resemblance to the star wars universe in terms of content apart from the odd stormtrooper walking around. 32 broken profesions most of which i cannot recall seeing at any point in any of the films, i certainly dont recal skywalker and co kicking the crap out of the empire in bare knuckle fights...they used guns...which killed things nicely...unlike a pistol in this game which is completely useless...a side rant however


Jump to light speed will need to be the be all and end all of online gaming because frankly i think the player base has had enough. Broken profesion after broken profesion,poor communication with the player base and frankly poor excuse after poor excuse.


I want to be a smuggler,not a slice monkey whose sole purpose in playing the game is to answer the beck and call of everyone else. Sony pull up some chairs and have a long think about just what you are doing here, sack your developers and hire some people with vision and an understanding of what game balance means(game balance is not making a man with a fist a combat god,a man with a gun pointless,nor is it adding nigh impossible dungeons with mobs with stupidly ott stats....THINK!)


If Smuggler was intended to be a space based profesion it should never have been included in release.


You cannot keep telling the community one thing and doing another if sonys attitude of poor management continues the game will fall flat on its arse..in fact from what i can see on my server at least it already has...


I would like a reason to play this game and sony arent giving me one...


World of warcraft anyone? Or Warhammer online? Plenty of other games on the way that will be recieving my monthly subscription if this game continues to be run into the ground...

You know what the combat balance will be right? I bet they will think in the lines of "Well, we need to make Jedi un-killable, cept by maybe another Jedi. So, we gonna buff everything related to not getting hit for the Jedi. Then we gonna nerf the other combat proffs with a new ability 'You cant hit a Jedi:100', then after we make sure Jedi's can kill in a sec 20 players, we mess around how to f*** up the other yet again." another Dev "What about Smugglers?" first dev takes out a Lightsaber and chops that devs head off "As I was saying, Jedi..."


All updates from here on will be Jedi Once the devs find a way to make smugglers benefit Jedi, THEN we will get looked at. And I aint waiting till say, March 2005, for a SMuggler Revamp... why be a SMuggler then? DO the quest and be a Jedi

Not in this timeline, at least. I know The Empire timeline was the most fun, but darn, put the SWG timeline after Ep VI, there are still many Imps out there, and Luke is wanting to establish the Jedi Academy, then put all the Jedi you want!! WHy does this not mess with the timeline? Cause SWG would become EU, hard to mess up with the timeline then, unless all the devs havnt read a single book. This was better off or before Ep IV or after Ep VI. Alot of Jedi during the Jedi Purge, and at least 100s of Jedi after Luke creates the Jedi Academy.


JTL should serve another purpose, Jump to Lightspeed a few years after EP VI and then drop out Thats what the devs should do. Leave EP IV-VI out of SWG, concentrate on its OWN timeline after Ep VI and start fresh Grand Admiral Thrawn not a challenge? Daala? Hell, how bout Isaard?? Alot of Imps after Ep VI to fight, and Thrawn was the worst. Had he been Emperor, there wouldnt have been an Ep V. EMpire Remnant have alot on their hands as well, fighting the New Republic, trying not to lose more planets. There are still alot of Pro-Empire planets around that the New Republic hasnt been able to bring over. And guess what? Jedi are back in No more Empire, no more Jedi Hunters (Well, not entirely anyway :fett so now they are free to develope Jedi skills. THIS was the timeline the Devs should have picked. BUT NO, they pick between IV - V, have thousands of Jedi running around that can kick Vader's arse and Teach Obi-Wan kenobi a few things and make Vader look like a bad joke not able to purge THOUSANDS of Jedi in the Jedi Purge. **edit**? "We will not mess around with the Timeline" the devs say... I dont know about you, but thats pretty messed up.


SWG: An Empire Devided had great potential... its just in the wrong hands. Cryptic handles issues in 2 mins that take SOE 2 weeks. LucasArts must have been high or something when they gave this to SOE.


JTL looks promising. But I got SWG to be a Smuggler, I am not gonna wait till March 2005 or after for the Devs to start looking into Smugglers. Jedi is out of the question. But after the quest, I tell you all, welcome to Jedi Knight IV: Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Devided


EQII ? Its their baby, it looks cool, but its still SOE. Screw that.


If I get bored of City of Heroes (WHich many from SWG have gone too, might I add) Ill try out WoW.

Ok, since we are getting this smuggler delay, devs, can you tell us what you will put in at publish nine to replace it? How about some bounty hunter and commando fixes? Maybe some new guns and vibroes to add to our collection? If your going to take like half of the publish away, can you at least tell us what your going to put to replace it? Please? Your so focused into jedi, when you don't even realize that this game is about the average joe, the average guy in the Star Wars Universe. How about making our lives a little bit better? I mean, focusing entiring on just jedi for two repaves ... well I wouldn't be surprised if they delayed combat repave in order to finish jedi at publish ten ... then your going to have at least one less customer because you don't know where your priorities should be. Why not just enhance smuggler as much as you can right now, and with the shipping of Jump to Lightspeed, it included will be smugglers' space control? You empathize that ground to air is going to be different, so why not just two enhancements for two different systems? I just want something in return smuggler isn't going to be repaved. How about fixing the death watch bunker like you did the geonosian caves? Fixing the loot, making the super battle droids a tiny bit easier then 99% saying, "It's impossible to do anyway." which I'm guessing after combat repave, your going to enhance a lot of the combat so it'll be a little easier for us I'm guessing. I can see some of your actions being fine like having the death watch bunker so hard, but when it comes to fixing core skills, I think you have a lot to worry about. The way it sounds right now, you guys sound like your going to make combat balance a two part thing with publish eleven and the galaxic civil war repave. I guess you devs also forgot about Cries of Alderaan too...

This goes to the devs .....OMG boo freaking hoo . you guys need a life? shut up you looser you guys make this game where we get no life just to play this stupid game. You want a life? lmao shut up there are countless people that give up their life so you guys can get payed you a55monkeys....Dont gimme that crap of how you need a life when its your job you dumb a55. I cant tell my customers hey i need a life when ive got an add saying its my job to serve them. YOU HAVE SPIT IN ALL OUR FACES and im not even a smuggler lol . i on the other hand can read between the lines and see you guys are freaking lazy. what has this work force come to that they dont want to work 7 days a week till the jobs done. YOU DONT LIKE IT QUIT! QUIT QUIT QUIT!!!! please by all means get the hell out of our office we the customer pays for. We are share holders in this company you dip sticks....come to me and tell me this kinda lazy crap....slackers youll never ammount to crap..didnt daddy teach you life is about work? ...i spit on you lazy devs, you truely have made me made. ive invested into this game by having three chars.. alot of us have and for my self this is my last month for all of them. id rather put my efforts into real life then this stupid impossible game...

Spice crafting: Experimentation does nothing for spice crafting. The only thing we can change is... flavor. Big deal!


Prerequisits:Unarmed Specialist is made mandatory for becoming a Novice Smuggler, even though your smuggler will never have to use it again. Remuve unarmed and replace it with Engineering and/or Business.


Overall, Smuggler profession feels very half-baked. Master Smuggler box don't even have any new mods and/or schematics.






Anybody seen anything that's changed since then? A few minor issues maybe...but none of the larger issues raised in this post have even been touched.


AND this is why the community deserves some answers from the devs.

If they would have placed player bounties in game...I think every smuggler would have bounties for JustG and TH right now.....
