It should be noticed that N'varra is certainly very
lucky though! Getting high results regularly while I was there. I believe she
really did think this method worked and it was a pleasure working with her on
this. She was extremely helpful and I know she was intending to prove me wrong.
However, the facts you can see for yourself.

She was a great sport and did her best to make this
testing as fair as possible. Going above and beyond to help me get accurate
results, and has my utmost respect for that. No attempt at covering up or
weighing the #'s and now that she knows for a fact that it is random... and
everyone else does too now.. RIGHT? We can get back to our
regularly scheduled pickets, problems and pontifications in the smuggler
forum.

I have the screenshots of these knives if needed,
but I hope that with the stats as described that wont be required.

In an effort to get a good bio out though, I took a
screenshot of N'varra
and thought I'd post it for reading pleasure for a
while.

In the words of Will Smith from "I, Robot"....
"Somehow, 'I told ya so' just doesn't quite say it."

Ug. Don't quote that. I can hear Asimov rolling in his grave.
Anyway..yeah, no surprise here.
It's random random random. You can bet on streaks but that's it.

Oh well, at least it kept me busy ingame guessing what the method might be; closest thing I've ever had to slicing experimentation

Umm, not to detract from the bio but... what the hell kind of ship is run with a crew more powerful then the captain?!

A pirate ship, crewed by the worst space dogs yee can imagine; Why they'd sell their own grandmother as soon as look at her and failing that, they'd shoot her just to hear her squeal, yarr. It be a foul ship lane that they be upon and they be always looking to further themselves in the ranks and take advantage of their superiors' mistakes of showing any weakness.
Er, or.. something..

Hahaha, Talon Karde(sp?) being beat up by his crew... That's rediculous, in the books they loved him.

I would like to thank Caylin for his time today. He has my complete respect for his manners and his thoroughness, and his love for our profession.
Secondly, I too will acknowledge the facts as they were presented. I was wrong. Turns out I am just extremely lucky. I can live with that. I am not the type to let go of something I strongly believe. Stubborness is a good quality. If one is wishy washy, they will change their opinions often. So until it is offically announced in the future by SOE, slicing IS indeed random.
As for my bio. How does a crew overpower their captain? It's called mutiny.
And did they love him in the book? Yes. ABout 20 Years after this time period. Someone had to lay the groundwork.
I can accept the facts on the slicing. I am always one to learn. Do not even dare to insult someone's bio. There truly is no need and is simply hurtful.

Being the HUGE fan of Talon Karrde that I am, I could dispute several aspects of your bio by simply quoting various things from novels and Karrde himself about how he came to power in his organization...
But, there's enough "unknown" there to give plenty of room. And then there's always the work around of using an "alternate" version of SW history to make your story fit...That's worked for the devs so far, considering that SWG doesn't in any way fit with "official" continuity...
*shrug*
Anyway...now that we've gotten past the whole slicing thing, I've actually taken the time to read your bio...and it's not half bad...even if I don't agree with it...

Hey Smuggler_Caylin, I don't suppose now that this is all over you'd tell us just what it was that it "does rate on a 1-10 scale... an 11 on my weird sh**-o-meter."?
Just curious about what happened.

I've found using my optical mouse on my forehead while firmly grasping my package produces perfect slices everytime.
