Consider if you will that option C may never, ever come.
Will you want your slice of immersion (A) or will you want to keep your convenience (B).
Yet if option C is ever an option it will be much easier to fight from an (A) perspective than a (B). For we had chosen immersion over convenience to begin with.

Even if option C never comes, I would still rather have an avenue to make money than not. If we get smuggling, then yeah, sure, start stripping us of things we don't need. But if we don't get smuggling, then hell yes, immersion be damned, I want every criminal activity I can get my grubby little hands on. I (read my character Dayasi Vo'Boda) am an oprotunist, a rogue and a scoundrel. If I can't have what I want then I'll take EVERYTHING I can get. If I break into your house to steal a rare Alderaanian artifact, and you don't have it? Then I'm stealing everything else that's not nailed down. You want to regulate the trade to make it harder for me? Sure. But don't cut off everything at the knees by not allowing it on a vendor. I can't go walking around with 1000 crate run of spices on me, because I want to be dealing in that kind of high volume. This isn't just sliced weapons. This is spice. This is Faction Equipment that I bought and set up on a vendor. If you don't allow contraband on a vendor, at all, then you end up relegating us to nickel and dime outfitting, and without actual Smuggling, then that takes what little potential is left out of the profession.

I would like contrabad (spice inpaticular)to stay on vendors for two reason...
1) This would make it only sellable via a trade window which means we would have dozens of smugglers spamming in Theed or what not, "Selling Muon, pst" or even "Selling Muon, please form a line". I'm sorry but the less spam at starports the better. If sliced items were included as contraband, that would kill most of the money some of us make slicing for AS and WS because they wouldn't be able to have sliced weapon vendors. I slice for a big name WS on my server. I'm sorry but I like thecreds I get paid for that.
2)It would hurt the sale of spice even more than it is hurting now. No one is gonna want to have to hunt down a smuggler to get a crate of muon. Most will say, "scew it I can live without it". Lets face it, muon isn't neccisary like a doc buff is, most will fight without it if they can't find it.
While option A will add more RP function into Smuggler, it will kill alot of Smugglers only means of making Creds.

Spice would have to become an absolute NECESSITY, which I'm doubting it will, no matter what they do with it, for it to be worth the hassel to the customer, even assuming a revamp of any kind.

How about:
B, but not on thegalactic Bazzar and a Vendor cannot be listed on the overhead map if it contains contraban (Rebel perks, Spice, Sliced items, slicing supplies)

My choice:A. I do not want to see spices on vendors. They should be illegal and hard to come by (and thus expensive).

In light of recent events, I don't trust the devs to implement (A) right. I'm envisioning them doing something like toggling the no trade/no drop flag on spices and sliced goods in order to prevent their sale. There's one good line left, let's try to keep it, hmm?
Although I suppose if you wanted to restrict illegal items to smugglers, that'd certainly do the trick...
Anyway, I vote for (B) in the context of "Don't touch anything, don't change anything, there's nothing to see here. Nobody said nothing about nothing. Move along."

LOL! Five stars for you because: "Don't touch anything, don't change anything, there's nothing to see here. Nobody said nothing about nothing. Move along." was funny.
