Bounty Hunter

What, thought I would drop smuggler? pleeeease...

I've decided to go crafter, But I'm not sure which prof I actually want to be, any thoughts? I was thinking maybe master Artisan, and dabble in arch. I'm not really looking for a career so much as a hobby, so money's not the main object. but hey, if I make money, woot.

Maybe I'll copy Tomo's template can't go wrong with a smuggler shipwright

I'd go with Droid Engineer.

Honestly, it depends on your server economy.

If you're looking to make a little money, I'd actually recommend Master Artisan...as the new publish includes new vehicles and stuff. You can make a killing selling them in crates of 5 (since vehicles are being disabled more now.)

Theed was a bustling commerce city...people hawked their wares, danced, laughed, dueled, and had a rollicking good time. Cantinas packed with Entertainers of every race, shape and size...along with scoundrels, Stormtroopers, and drunks. People grouped up and stuck together in the wilderness, and you ALWAYS took a Scout or a Ranger with you. We lived our own Star Wars saga. We created our own personas, our own histories, and it all blended into this wonderful, magical experience that I will always remember...

That magic is gone now, but I'd pay 50 bucks a month to have it back.

Editor's Note: The author of the above post has quit giving SOE her money. She suggests you do the same, because this game will never be what you want it to be.

Okay, thought so, liked the idea of being able to craft vehicles...

If I'm gonna dabble in an elite crafting prof, what reccomendations would people make for both the prof, and the trees?

Oh come on. Star Wars>money. Although both vehicles and droids do fit into my vision of the tinkering-with-machinery type of Smuggler.

Hmm... you can't be a MArtisan/MDE/MSmuggler... you'd need 11 skill points more.

Dabbling in crafter professions is pretty hard. I'd almost say that you're better off just doing master artisan and putting the rest into combat.

If you're going dabble.... DE would be the best thing to dabble in. Honestly... it really really depends on what they do for crafters in the future. Grinding crafting xp is easily... so my suggestion is to really stick with the Master Artisan... make the new speeders and powerups since that's where most of your money will come from anyway. To get into full blown crafting is quite a chore at first. It's once you get established that it really becomes a hobby.

You can always grind up a crafting tree once you find something you like or once we see what the future holds for crafters.

"Jedi claims of being "broken" are like saying "But my TV isn't widescreen! It's broken! My TV can't show high-def pictures in 1080i, it can only do 720i! It's broken!" Meanwhile, crafters are saying "We'd really like to have a TV that's larger than 12" and gets more than 4 channels and doesn't constantly lose vertical control", and entertainers are saying "Can we get some color instead of this B&W piece of junk?" And smugglers? We're listening to radio programs of "The Shadow" and "The Abbot and Costello Comedy Hour" and hearing FDR's Fireside Chats. We don't even HAVE a damn TV, much less a broken one or a "broken" one by Jedi standards. I'd LOVE to be as "broken" as they are." - The Legendary Solo4114

/shrug, tailor's not for me, I've got access to several tailors, including a tailor blue glowie

So like I said, if I dabbled in DE what do people think of 1344?

I personally have a hard time dealing with dabbling in crafting profs- cause I know I wouldn't be the best.

That said, If you're gonna take Master Artisan then Dabbling Droid is an excellent idea. I say Go for it. You will be able to build every chasis with that config, no?

By the way, WHY are ya droppin' BH?

Yes I believe I can build ALMOST every chassis, minus the master level ones, also, several crafting station droids, etc. Basically anything I would want just for fooling around with. I think. Hope to get a DE's opinion.

And I'm dropping BH cuz A. I'm bored with being all combat B. Too much drama going on with this bh/smug/jedi triangle, C. I've been known to spontaneously drop professions for other ones on a whim

The ultimate "pilot" profession mix would still have to be:

mPilot(any)
mSmuggler
mShipwright
TK4000 (wounds are important)

These days, not enough SP left over for Novice Ent to kill BF too, but still, it's a hell of a combo for space. If that floats your boat.
