Thread: Anybody Know What Rock Bottom Faction Costs Are???

I am a Rebel Master Smuggler on Ahazi and I was looking at faction items since the new patch . . . Initially, a PvPForward Outpost (I am just using this item as an example) cost 22500 faction points. Five minutes later that same base cost 17500 faction points (I assume the change was due to rebel control increasing on the planet). Does anyone have knowledge as to what are the lowest possible factionprices a Rebel Master Smuggler can purchase items for - I am guessing that the lowest a PvP Forward Outpost would get to is 11250 (50% of the highest cost), but, I would like someone who is informed about the issue to post some information. Much appreciated - thanks.

On the rebel side base cost for a master smuggler (this includes the 25% discount) is:

Sm. Turret [Dish, Block, Tower]: 750
Md. Turret [Block, Tower]: 2250
Lg. Turret [Dish, Block, Tower]: 3375

HQ: Forward Outpost: 3750
HQ: Field Hospital: 7500
HQ: Tactical Center: 8437
HQ: Detachment HQ: 11250

SF HQ: Forward Outpost: 7500
SF HQ: Field Hospital: 15000
SF HQ: Tactical Center: 16875
SF HQ: Detachment HQ: 22500

Didn't look at furniture or armor.. didn't really care.

To figure out cost on any give planet its 3x the base cost if you're winning and if you're losing then check the standings on the recruiter and the formula is:

(1+2*(your side / their side))*base cost

(in other words, its cheapest the worse the ratio you're losing by is... and as soon as a single base is placed for your side the price comes up off of "base"... so don't expect to buy much at it.)

The 15750 price is the lowest you'll see on that particular item.

The change in price indicates that the Rebellion started losing the war. So, you saw the 30% "loser" discount go into effect.

Regular price (non-Smuggler) for one of those F.O.s is 30000.

So, you saw:

30000 - 30% = 21000 - 25% (MS discount) = 15750

Dosen't look like you're taking into account the new planetary control rules at all dreven. The only time price is fixed on any good is when you're side is winning the war on that specific planet.

You sure you read that right?

Those prices are AWFULLY LOW. If that's what you're seeing, you definitely need to /bug it in game. The lowest you should ever see a PvP Detachment HQ (with the MS and 30% loser discounts) is 47250.

I have all of this in an Excel spreadsheet...every perk for both factions...and none of my math gives me numbers that low...

This is how TC has been working for at least since last weekend... and is the code that went live today.

Where did you find these new rules?

Because I saw none of that on TC-Gorath when I was testing...

and like I said.. you'll hardly see "base" price on live...

If a planet is 91pts reb vs. 123 pts imp (different bases palced cost different... pve fwd outpost is 2 i think) then the rebs sides SF Detach HQ is gonna cost a m.smuggler 55792FP

Well I've been buying bases under this formula since about sunday on TC (not TC Gorath). Just took dropping the outcomes of a few different planets into excell to see what the forumla was.

Ok so let me get this straight - Imperial Humans don't get that 30% extra discount anymore?

And which cost formula is correct?

On the imp side I'm not sure if the "base" prices are the same.. but I do know base cost for a human imp (non smuggler) for an ATST was somethign like 6k
