Thread: How much does a good slice cost?
illegal booster cores are listed at 2 mil each on the vendors on intrepid....how gay is that. To have a sliced ADK weapon of very high quality will cost a player 25 million credits.
175+ krayt tissues -5 million credits
ADK - 10 million credits
Weapon of high Quality - 5 - 10 million credits
Slicing Components - 3 - 5 million credits
I guess it is even more.

if supplies are supplied I charge 100k for a tier 4 speed slice, 25k per level. if I supply its costs plus 25k per level so its 200k+50k+25k+100k= 375k
I just did a full speed slice for 511,000 credits. Did I rip my self off?
I also did a 2% Hardening Slice on 4 items for 604,00. Again did I rip my self off? Can I be doing these for 1,000,000's instead? XD
Ohwell, I do not really care I went from 2,000,000 credits in my bank to 3,000,000 creditslol
Any slice that doesn't require a part - 5k
Any slice that requires a Simple Toolkit - 10k
Any slice that requires a Finely Crafted Toolkit - 15k
Any slice that requires a Delicate Trigger Assembly - 115k
Any slice that requires an Illegal Core Booster - 115k(but i believe these are harder to come by, so it may be 200K+)
i've yet to slice armor, but for weapons I can usualy slice something for under 200k, I believe my first price guess was a little off, but it was close.
I've yet to see anyone on my server actually publically admit to looting these.
So on Starsider I could do a full speed slice for about 150k or a full damage slice for like 1-2mil :/

With slicing, as with selling FP, I have a simple rule... the first time the customer insults me, the price doubles and they are told why.
The second time they fail to control their tongue, it doubles again. The third time, they are added to ignore.
I am a professional and I feel that my prices are reasonable, the customer is free to disagree and take their business elsewhere - but I won't tolerate unprofessional conduct from someone who wishes to enter into a business realtionship with me.
In the old days, abusive customers would be sadly informed that because of thier browbeating, the wrong wire was cut.

I think those are a bit flawed, although its assuming the player cannot get a high level drop weapon.I am a melee fighter so I dont need the kryat stuff , and the best weapons in game for 50% of professions are all loot drops or quest rewards. The slicing is about who you know I am afraid. I do believe the slicing changes are needed , but anytime you place an entire professions actions on looting, like jedi for instance, the economy becomes unstable. It is cool how getting a slice is something that is a prize and is now valued, but before was more of an inconvience as to find a smuggler and bug them.

Dunno if it was a mistake or what but your paying for a weapon twice with this "formula", if you buy the tissue for 5 mil why would u pay another 5-10 for a weapon of high quality? Taking the tissue to any reputable 12pt'er shouldn't cost u more than an additional 200k or so for them to craft it. And true not everyone received one but if you had the chance an didn't take the ADK as your gift then that was silly.
