I've only sliced for my friends, because they insisted I do it. I warned them slices suck, and I even got a 0% damage slice on my friend's blaster (it went up 1 point I believe >_>). I've turned down every other customer, to save complaints and to save them a bad slice, when things...could get better in the future, I hope.

Anyways, do you guys warn your customers, and if so, do you still get a lot of people that, no matter the slice outcome, want you to slice their equipment? Or do you still try to make a living out of slicing normally, as slicing still does help their weapon?

I pretty much don't slice anymore. I'll slice my own stuff, but refuse to slice anyone's valuable stuff. It just doesn't seem fair. I have gotten a couple of 0% slices, and it breaks my heart to have a weaponsmith lose out on a million credit sale because the god's of diminishing returns go to work through my hands. All I can say is I hope they fix it soon, because being a smuggler just cause it's cool, won't go over very well for very long

I don't slice anymore. Not my own stuff (nothing important anyway), nor anyone else's. I turn down friends now; people whom I previously offered free slicing. It just isn't a significant improvement given the risk involved.

I stopped slicing except for the real noobs who will only be using their current weapons for a short period of time before uprgading to better weapons, though i dont charge for this.

I tell someone who asks me for a slice that slicing is currently messed up, and let them know of the possibilities, then let them decide if they still want to risk it, if so, I make certain they pay after I slice things. If they know ahead of time that there's a chance of a zero or negative percentage, and say to still go for it, or the chance that the percentage stated may not reflect the actual change, then its thier own damned fault if the slice blows up in thier face, and I still expect payment for my time spent and gear used.

I currently won't slice anything other than grind weapon

The most annoying thing about the ReSpec is the number of Slice Spammers who obviously don't give a shiat about the cutomers and the craft.

I've started slicin again recently , had quite a few customers and the decent cash is comin in again .,

I've got a sales pitch set up now to tell people what the crack is , if they still wanna go ahead with it , its up to them , I think thats fair , so far no problems , less than before i'd say.

I think people are expectin less because what they've heard about slicin problems , so if it goes well its more of a bonus , and a lot of people (even vetplayers?) , i had a mbh the other day who dint have a clue about slicin?????? , still dont know about slicin at all .

So Im not stitchin people up at all , im makin it abundantly clear as to what the crack is , an if they still wanna risk their dough , its their final decision , cant say fairer than that , anI throw in a few spice freebies too if theyve been nice.

An since they nerfed spice stackin I think I should be able to use my slicin skills to make a living again.

i say "I could slice it but right now slicing is broken and can result in a negative or no slice...if you wait a few weeks till next publish they are revamping smuggling to make it much more effective"

Mostly they say yes. If they beg enough I slice it...but I don't like doing it and I don't tell them a "%" i say check it out yourself the % i get is broken

Right now I've just stopped slicing altogethor. I got tired of all the all the crapI was getting from people from poor slices even though I warned them quit thoroughly before the slice

Their is talk of the first being pushed out this week or next (i hope this week i have a lot of time of this week) though since it is only part of the revamp i imagine it will be slicing since this appears to be the issue most smugglers are discussing right now and to be honest if it is turned into a mini game i think it may be quite fun.

I still slice now and then. I'm averaging 12-14% speed/damage slices, I've gotten a couple 20% damage slices and even one 30% damage slice. That one made my jaw drop, I'm telling you!

Luckily, I've yet to experience the 0% slice, but I have experienced 4%
