What's the going price for a slice nowadays? Last time I was a smuggler it was 100 creds per %, now I see 3k per, up to 10k per. Is there a "standard" everyone follow?

Nope, people charge what they want. Prices range from the 100cr/% to 25k+ depending on the smuggler.

lol, I got a WS waiting on me to slice about 100 weapons, wait till I drop that price bombshell on him, Ooga! LOL

Well, it's either that or flat rate him at 1 kidney per item sliced.
Whichever is more cost effective

My opinion on slicing.
For items above 20, anything less then 3k per is unreasonable to me.
I always ask for 5k for items of 20 or more, but for 20 or less I charge 10k. I've been doing this since march...

there's one WS in particular that has me slice all his enhanced weps ... VKs, pistols, T21s .... you know the drill
anyway, he does bulk enhancements, and has me slice them all. I'll usually give him back at least a few 30+%dmg slices, which he can turn around and sell in the millions.
and yet, i get 5k for each slice from him.
I charge 10k per slice when i'm publically slicing ... i try to avoid slicing containers, but they're free when someone needs them sliced.
I know it's up to me to strike a deal with the WS, but still, I'm sure many of you have similar stories and encounters, and also wonder why we only get 2-20k for a wep that can be sold for more than a mil.

I don't usually slice publically but when I get stopped by someone and I have my supplies with me I charge 200 creds per % increase.

i take 5k per item nad maby some travel/inconvenience fees if i have to go far and loose time.. but people seem to over tip me for good slices... i had tips of 40k overpriceand often do orders that pays about 150k-200k.. i made a millionere in djust a few hours of playing since i transfared servers...

The smuggler is charging more for the time. The time it took to get to master smuggler(even to slicer) and also for the amount of time it takes you to to actually slice the item. The actual cost of slicing is minimal small(around 1k max per slice).

When I get asked if I will slice something, I usually respond with "Sure". 95% of the time, I don't get asked what I charge. When I get done, I reply with something like "31% damage slice. That'll be 31mil." If they don't pay up, I keep the weapon,equip it, andtaunt them mercilessly.

100c per 1% is very common on Scylla, and is what I charge as well.I also charge1k per container (typical is 2-5k, but with the junk that's in them 99% of the time I don't feel right handing a newbie back an opened container for 5k with nothing in it but a stone dagger).
