A dev at Fan Fest propossed that roots and snares break upon further damage to the target. I read this from a credible source and have heard it from other credible posters.

So I go into their forum and call for attention to be brought to the issue so that their rooting shot, Stopping Shot doesn't befall this fate. I actually call for the correspondent's attention.

Well, I get the correspondent response and he says, "This is as of publish 18? Good, perma rooting was one of our top five issues. Now I can go and ask for a reduction in the recovery timer for stopping shot." I'm left sitting there thinking, "what the hell?". It is obvious that the correspondent didn't really read my post and that he assumed I was talking about the nerf which stopped players from being permarooted. Trust me, I think that was a good change.

Sooooo, I ask the correspondent if he actually READ what I wrote. So he comes back acting like I just insulted him, followed by a throng of other people on that forum who ALSO didn't actually read the post and ALSO thought I was just someone complaining that I couldn't chain root someone.

Let's just say that I had to tolerate alot of bull from their community, apparantly from a few of their upstanding members who also haven't read the original post at all.

So I go into the Pistoleer Forum today, hoping to aid them from getting their profession nerfed only to get the smart mouth from their most esteemed members.

I have been a pistoleer for a year and a half and have added much to their community, but after being treated like that for only trying to help (!!!), I am finding myself royally pissed off at their behavior.

Well the correspondent never posted any PM's I sent him, which were all even-toned. I DID send a PM to some guy who busted in the thread just to call me a moron and say that the thread was stupid and should be deleted. That guy posted my PM to him, even after I sent an appology to him. It's funny though, this guy even admitted to not reading the thread in the same post where he expossed my PM. He seemed completely unwilling to accept an appology and even remained an ass up to the point that I kindly told him good night.

I had to chew that guy out, after about three earlier people acting the same way, I couldn't take it.

all us non-jedi playersr going to be forced underground.....they rnt gonna have room for us...to many jedi.....ruining the game for everyone...

Well nerfherder321, when concussion shot is a mez, we will be VERY capable at keeping Jedi and other dangerous enemies out of combat until there is a better time to deal with them.

If roots and snares are changed to break upon damage, they will be completely useless except in escape scenarios which means they will be of NO use during a battle.

If the root/snare nerf goes through, Concussion shot will be the only viable attack to keep a person in place because once under the mez, they cannot attack.

Just personally, I choose not to engage them in a private message, that's just me though. It's pretty sad how they all seemed to jumped on you, especially the Correspondant, without reading... I don't think I've got much respect left for our dear Pistoleer Correspondant.

i was just there and was reading some of the pistoleer corr's posts....hes pretty cocky and rude to his fellow pistoleer....wonder how he got the job?

Im trying to figure out what the hell he was talking about. YOu asked him a question......and he answered a question that wasnt even brought up/asked. That thread took a horrid curve right after the first post. As if they ...just posted, and never read the original post.
