Thread: Faction Perks Have Been Doubled In Cost
And that was because there was no COA bonus there.
Let's see the prices after the servers come back online...
For me, if faction stuff prices are doubled, it's a bad thing for one aspect : credit price will be doubled too....
How to explain someone you have to pay 3M for a full ST armor when you were selling it for only 1.5 M before?

My concern was that as a zabrak Imperial Col. Master Smuggler, I still wasn't able to gather enough FPs to purchase the high-end items -- and non-smugglers could get a better price for perks. Sure, I can sell FPs, but I'm going to need to find another smuggler to buy perks myself.
No offence...but...
Them's the breaks.
If the prejudice penalty is that big of a deal for you, join the Rebellion. Or, re-roll as a Human.

Oh, I understand and accept the discrimination penalty and have been tempted to start-over as human [shudder]. I was simply questioning the math that makes it impossible to purchase items. Why have a max-price greater than non-humans can't even accumulate?

Because, in theory, the Empire wouldn't allow aliens to control such things. There are a FEW exceptions...like Thrawn. But, even he didn't come into possession of any "perks" of power until long after the Emperor was gone. Prior to his coming back, the Emperor had exiled him to the Unknown Regions with a taskforce of middle-class ships.
Apparently he didn't rate enough Imperial FP to sport one of the nice Destroyers...

After Pelleon found him on some rock on the edge of the Outer Rim.
