Geeaahhd, I ate so much cake yesterday. In fact, I ate it until it was gone.
There were moments I was wishing it were pie, but not often.

I spent the day at my friends' place, hanging out by the pool and helping babysit their kid. A nice lazy Sunday afternoon before the workweek starts again tomorrow. Not to hot or muggy and just having a lot of fun. Next thing I know, some more friends show up. As they enter, I couldn't help but notice that one of them was carrying a white pastry box. Wide enough and tall enough to easily conceal a fresh baked pie.
Needless to say, my day just got a heck of a lot better!
After the initial greetings and joking, I managed to steer the conversation towards the mysterious white box.
"Hey, what's in the box?" I asked. "Did you guys bring some pie over?"
"It's a fruit tort," was her reply.
Man, when the Revamp finally shows up, it better be a pie. If it turns out to be a fruit tort masquerading as a pie, there'll be Hell to pay.

fruit tort......its actaully kinda good........but i never turn down pie

That sounds like what happened to commando... we were promised pie...and got a turdtort, (albeit with fancy new particle effects)

fruit tortons > fruit torts.
i wonder who else uses the word pie to refer to pizza. i know we do it here in NY, but i heard people in other part of the country don't call a pizza a pie.

Where I am we call a pizza a pizza
