Four Days... Thats how long it has been since i last had a request for a slice of any type, it seems

our good friends the Armor and weapons Smiths are robbin us of any business with their many "Sliced Weapon Vendors"

I went to 10 weapon dealers in the Coronet area on the Ahazi server a few nights ago and found that all had

sliced weapon vendors and in some cases theyhad no normal Unsliced weapons on sale at all...

Thetrend of slicing standard weapons, getting a high 30%+ slice and then sellin it for fives times its worth has

been sincegoing too long, its abouttime the SWG Devs put an end to this by stoppin Sliced weapons and armor

being sold on Private vendors or Bazaars..

Bottom line is sliced Gear is illegal in the Star Wars world, ill most likely get flamed for this post but i dont care...

Im growing poorer by the hour, Rememberyou cant buy Heroin in a sweetie shop....

PSSST get with a armorsmith or aweaponsmith. Or Become one yourself.

Are you in a guild or town that Has crafter profesions? if not perhaps you can find one. I have and Im to the point i dont have to charge for the slice. Smuggler Merchant works well. Slice the Weapons Bought from towns Weaponsmith and place on my own vendors. Same with Armor. And free slice to all town Inhabitants.

Kinda falls under cant beat them join them. Good luck.

There are missions in which you "deliver an item while hostiles attack you" in every profession. I still don't consider [Smuggler's Alliance] pilots to be Smugglers, nor 'Smuggling' - at least not any more than Rebel Pilots or Imperial Pilots might sometimes "smuggle", with a lower-case s - JFreeman - 10/6/04

If a weaponsmith or armorsmith wants to get smuggler or work with a smuggler that is there decision. By becoming a smuggler you are not promised clients and weapons/armor to slice.

To say that sliced weapons shouldnt be allowed to be sold on vendors would be an interesting idea. It would end up being a nerf to smugglers though in the long run of things if it ever happend

I have no idea what you're talking about...

I get more slice requests when I log in than I care to service.

I have to turn my title off whenever I go through Coronet unless I want to be hounded for an hour for slices.

I NEVER advertise either...just go about my business with my title up when I don't mind slicing.

I'm sorry but I don't see the problem you're describing...at least not on Valcyn.

I get more requests for sliced weapons and armor - b/c people want to KNOW their slice %. Not buy something they see is sliced, but don't know the amount.

So let the WS or AS sell sliced items. No skin off my back.

Sorry Guys there's no use talking down to me like im a newbie, ive been a Master Smugg for 2 months

and imas guilty of mass slicing as you lot but id prefer not to have to. i enjoy slicing for the public 10k for 2 Weapon

slices isn't bad money, whats the point in being a slicer if everything bought is already sliced, you guys are just hurting

the whole Smuggler Community but im guessing the only people that replied to my

post are Level 4slicers/MasterWeaponsmiths...

I cant believe not one of you peoplebacked me up on this but at least we know who to blame when we all

have to drop our slicing prices to 2k

Hey I am a master smuggler and have been for quite some time. I bought this game the day it came out and the profession that I wanted to be was smuggler. Maybe you should actually look at what we wrote instead. I know on my server that there are plenty of people still looking for slices.. its so bad that I cant even wear my master smuggler tag around. And I slice for 5k a slice unless its for a guild member. Its not like they are letting weaponsmiths slice weapons.. you still have to be a smuggler to slice the weapons.

That being said I think youre idea that certain items cant be sold on vendors would be interesting but overall smugglers not being able to sell stuff on vendors cause its "illegal" would be a nerf rather than a help to smugglers.

It's another illegality problem - slicing isn't illegal, so there is no risk to blatently and openingly selling sliced weapons on any market. Thus - its perfectly alright for smugglers to sell out their profession.

alot of people tend to forget that one of the old pre req. for smuggler was artisan/business 4...

Now that's going too far! I mean it's bad enough we are reduced to slicing weapons and armor for the entire community but slicing Weaponsmiths... no... I won't do that!!!

But seriously now, you will find that the debate about what is illegal and what isn't, isn't going to be over anytime soon. Everybody owns sliced stuff, (almost) no one buys spice. Personally I would like to see all sliced stuff be confiscated when someone is successfully scanned, but right now that would mean stealing the last chance of income for neutral smugglers.

Yep Im to Blame. It all me. I have big shoulders and Soon to be Master Smuggler and Master Merchant. I buy my weapons By the Crate ( pays to have Crafters that actually like you HINT). Slice and sell spice On my 6 vendors. And i use my alt to Harvest Resourses too. So yes im to blame. Im also makeingcredits not chasing Glowsticks or doing quests.

So now i Offer to call you a Whaaaaambulence. For your BoooHooo Everybody needs to play like me post. I Tried to be nice!!! But you went over the WHINE!!!

Yep your Right. You cannot posess a Altered item (IMPERIAL LAW). Nothing about salesof it. WOW RL in game.
