does smuggler have aoe. and is it concussion shot?
if it isn't which class does area root that i seem to spot all the time.
most people are telling me its smuggler

Smugglers that are doing AOE attacks are likely Smugglers with Commando, who have a whole host of AOE weapons, that's what you're likely seeing.

Smugglers do not have an AoE attack.
However, if you have commando and, for example, use a flamethrower and do a concussion shot or a stopping shot, then you get a cone effect on the shot. Anyone within the cone and is hit will become dazed or rooted respectively.

I swear.... if I see a "Nerf Smuggler+Commando!!!" post by you on the Jedi forum after this, I'm gonna call in the calvary and go ballistic on ya. Just a heads up.

haha so true! Honestly, that's what commando was intended to do. It's there to augment other professions.

Nope. Don't know you at all. And I know you don't post in the Jedi forum... it was humor. If you know the history of the Smuggler profession, you'll get it.

i despise everything about jedi....when i opened that first holocron that popped up and said "Droid Engineer" or the time the master defender's shut down the base CD 5 times ina row unaided . trust me i have no reason to post on the jedi forums

Pish! Commando's have no identity of their own, they need the other professions to give them flavor, substance, meaning and a purpose. They can get pissed about it, but it doesn't mean its not true
