I AM GETTING A LITTLE FED UP WITH THIS CRAP.

sory guys just had some really rude clients these days.

ok this is the scenario:

guy in full comp brings me 6 de-10 pistols for slicing and he starts whinin about my prices are to high.

i tell him that his paying for MY TIME AND MY SKILL POINTS SPENT ON THE PROFESION

how can i get this idea across to people.

they spend 200k's on a weapon and they are to cheap to spend 10k's(what i charge) to imporve it froma 11% to a 35% in dmg or speed.

ah come one,i have talke to other smugglers and i really respect the fact that they charge only like 2 or 3 k's forslice,this is a free galaxy and you have the liberty to charge as much as you want,

yesterday for example i was talking to this ms and while talking i got a tell for slicing,when he looked at my bio and and saw the price he refused to use my services,then i directed him to my coleague which only charged 2.5 k's.

he didi the slicing and i was ok with that,i was happy to give the bussines to anoter master smuggler.

ive done lots of work pro-bono in TAT for noob's hey i do some role play and we have fun,i like helping out,but when my buffs are runniong out and i get tell s fro slicing nobody seems to wanna pay for my time or skills.

well im still going to be charging 10k's per weapon and 100k's per armour(comp),whoever likes it ok,if they dont well i guess they wil have to find another who will do the same job and get underpaid(no flaming plz just postin my thoughts)

yes it must be that their use ti lower prices,,hehe 5 k's isnt the lowest ive seen thou,ive seen people slice for 2k's and i think that is just a waste of time.

we must take pride in our job.

the other day this client complained because he got a 35% speed slice on one of those carbines(forgot the model),he wanted a dmg slice but hey come on,i improved the weapon speen IN 35% thats alot,he refused to pay so i left the item in my back pack telling him that each day would increment the price in 20k's for my troubles and stress he gave me with him and all his friends sending angry tells.

a week later he finally came and payed.

now his really smooth with,so i think we need to stand up for ourselves,

thats my opinion and what im doing right now,everyone is free to do as they want.

Yeah, but 100k per armor piece is kinda steep...

hum i also wnated to apologise for the cr@@ word i used at the begining of my post,

/sigh im really tired of people bitching bout he prices.

i dont pop my vk to their head and say "hey pay up"

they can always find another smuggler who will do it cheaper then me.

but they always have to start sending tells and yelling im a crook in spatial.

10k is cheap, I take 20k per item sliced. Usually gives work to some other smuggler, since people don't seem too happy with my prices. But I just justify it with the autopull not working and most customers have been "ok I see your point". Not everyone is ignorant.

For DE10's,krayt weapons etc i would actually double my fee.

So if you charge 10k/slice, and there are 9 pieces of armor - how did you come up with 100k? By most calculators, it should be 90k. Not 100k...

When I started as smuggler...like around last September the prices were UNDER 3k per slice. I charged 3k and was told it was high from time to time. I charge 5k now and most accept it without question. 10k though? Sorry...on Valcyn I don't think I've ever seen anyone advertising for that much. Seems a bithigh for something that costs us a tiny fraction of that amount...in tools AND in time.

If you can get it though then go for it. But my advice is not to try and explain yourself to those that balk. When I'm told my price is high I just say; "Sorry, thanks for inquiring." and let it go at that. You'll never 'win' an arguement about your prices...not in SWG and not in RL.

he should haev been ecstatic witha 35% speed slice. carbineers cant hit the speed cap at master by a longshot, much like pistoleers, and its actualy better for him as the significant speed increase actualy results ina higher dps tehn a damage slice firing at a slow rate...

as to charging 100k for a 9 piece suit of armor thats absolutely nuts.. and quite frankly, on valcyn DE-10's go for upwards of 4 milion at least for the most part, as its all rare looted components from deathwatch to make them + krayt tissue.... even if you charge that kind of price, if some guys walking around with 6 brand new de-10s at once he shouldnt be complaining about money. you were probably confusing them with geonosian pistols. the DE-10 is the silver revolver looking one.
