Thread: Holsters have existed since pre-beta .. so where are they?

This is one of the 360 screenshots taken before even Beta 1 had begun for Star Wars Galaxies around 3 years ago atleast. Take a good look at the belt this Bothan is sporting... yes, you arnt seing things.. its a dual-welded holster. A holster sitting on both of his hips and you can just about make out the tip of a blaster sitting in both holster.
What does this mean? It means that a gun holster belt has effectively existed in this game since pre-beta days yet for some reason, 3 years later, has still not seen its way to the player base.
Getting something like this for my Smuggler character is almost as important as being able to smuggle... almost.

I was wondering this just the other day. We need holsters, I mean we can't have a revamp so give us holsters so we can at least look smuggly.

I want the clothes to go with the holsters, too. Those are the snazz. If holsters do ever make their way in, I hope they scale themselves like armor belts and not like the tailor belts. Pistols on belts is one thing. Pistols on hula hoops is another.

This is one thing I have been waiting for since launch. Holsters are VERY Star Warsy and as part of the SW universe as bandoliers. Seems like a no brainer to me.

Heh my master tailor wife agrees with this post completely. 
Of course she also wants to be able to make us cool hats too...

Several of the tailor belts fit properly too. The only I generaly wear is the decorative belt. But its still no holster
This Bothan is obviously not a real in-game character .. can tell that from his pose ... but for that belt to be sitting round his waist it means the belt intself exists. That in-turn means the artwork and modelling already exists... that means the only thing they need to do to get these belts to us is create the crafting coding and fix any clipping issues it might have.
This really would be one of those 5-second jobs that should have been done a LONG time ago and is one of the things the entire fan base is crying out for but is falling on def ears

I believe alot of the things we want are ready to be used... look at what what cities have that we can not get... special chairs, clothing, houses, parks, paitnings... (example the skulls on Nyms wall at his place with the fingers of the best as well) I believe they lock this so they can give it as a reward or vet reward, i mean we just started getting the blue couches in the starports...
