It is official now smuggler is boned. The release date for the smuggler revamp is march next year. Check the in concept, and check the indevelopement top thread. You will be shocked at just how bad its going to get. Infact mr hayden did two interviews today that said jtls and jedi are the wave of the future.

I couldn't find what you're refering to, but I don't think this is new news. I think I have known this for a couple days.

ok. never mind the first part, i was mislead, as per SWG Regs and Ords., Paragraph 234, Sub paragraph A, Clauses A through Z, which boils down to they're messing wit' our heads...

I get to feal better each day about my upcomeing cancellations. I hear WoW is looking nice, and the best part is its not run by these guys.

I couldn't even read that whole thing. It was all "blah blah blah blah....". We all know what was said and promised. He's blowing it off like they said "a year" ...which would have not been accepted by the community. I'm sorry to say I think I'm going to have to drop smuggler and pistoleer for a while.

Dang....I have been a smuggler since last august....I have endured through broken promises...and an undeserved nerf. This is probably the worse news I have heard in a while about all this. I have always given the devs a benefit of a doubt, but now that is even hard to do. I really REALLY hope that JTL is worth it and can keep my interest until MArch...or whenever they get around to fixing some professions that have been broken since launch.

after JTL' then delaying combat balance after that point, I'm not surprised.

I agree caylin....but really...was it november when we were promised dev love...or whatever the hell it was? That combat revamp should have been priority one and probably should have been implemented before player cities. I am tired of everything getting delayed but f'ing jedi.

Agreed Caylin. If they do this right and with a large enough scope (they're talking about roles for everyone in the GCWremember, that includes Smugglers), then I may even get over the fact that Smuggler gets delayed until April/May should that indeed happen.
After reading the interview at http://gameinformer.com/News/Story/200407/N04.0720.1826.59114.htm I actually have some hope for the game again (although I had to supress the urge to do violent things to my monitor at first, as the interview went on, I was starting to accept what was being said).
Don't mean to be all hijacky Caylin, but any news on good Mr. GM?

Great article mate. Thanks for the link. Not only was the first part a major BS bit,the upcoming JTLS seems this games only hope. Jedi FS village is gonna be another hermit quest camped day and night it seems. Why they feel like they need to push people to interact and make FS a social experience just make me want to cancel more and more. Sorry this John. Q. Gamer didn't see any merrit to stick around till mid 2005 waiting for a profession fix. I'll most likely give JTLS the shot I feel it deserves, cause that is all I am intersted in at this point. Ifit is as remotely as FUBAR as the ground game I am will be back when another company makes a SW mmo.
