Thread: What's the most dedicated RP server?

I want to start a character on a RP server, because I don't want to deal with a bunch of douchebags like we had on Naritus (not that I'm going to stop playing my Naritus character). It's kinda dorky, but I've always wanted to 'live' Star Wars, and a RP server would be kinda fun. To try to not break character and such. What is the best server for this? Is there a server that even comes close to real roleplay?

Kettemoor was always labeled as the "unofficial Role Play Galaxy". Lately it's become a little sparse in population later at night, but there are still people on it.
I can say that at least one interesting Role Play event will be starting soon on Kettemoor. It won't be mentioned on the forums though. The details on it will all be from in-game...

All I can offer you is the Official Farstar Roleplayer List.
What's so dorky about it, if you're not here to "live" SW, you might as well be killing orcs and whatnot.

accccctually Starsider was the original "unnofficial RP server" so

I would suggest if you like smuggler roleplay type things you check out Eclipse and N'varra Ren

Gorath is good for RP.. if you speak German of course.. but they are good at it, ill tell ya

Chimaera claims to be RPie too... i don't see it. they are all antisocial cyborg orphans with a deep htred towards the oposing faction, cyborg arms made it all worse sadly :/

Gyndo and Nasedo on valcyn are both RP smugglers, I'll try my hand at rp from time to time but it ain't really my cup of tea. Valcyn is a real nice communitity though, all very friendly and their are several RP groups on both Imperial and Rebel. I couldn't really point you in the right direction I'm afriad though. I'm a die hard GCWer.

I'd strongly recommend Starsider myself. I even transfered a CL 64(CL 70 now)character there with no items because I was so tired of the pure doodism of my old server. Yes there are arsehats on all servers and Starsider has the largest roleplaying community.

I think every server has a RP community. Even on Shadowfire (the smallest of the North American Servers) we have a Tight knit RP community that is trying to expand its horizons by getting new and older players interested in RP. Roleplaying is the real Endgame to SWG, its a never ending story that is not dependent on grinding.

A friend of mine who played Beta said they made Starsider the RP server. Ive played on Starsider since launch and found that to be generaly true. Of course not everybody RPs on ANY server and there will always be RPs somewhere on any server, but I've found people generaly more willing to RP on starsider. If you tell people that you're a RPer they'll usualy RP with you after that.
