Thread: Any Master Smugglers with just Pistols IV?

Just a thought really that's all. I love pistols too much so I'm Master Pisoleer also, but I was wondering how many Master Smugglers don't compliment their template with some or all Pistoleer/BH?
With a speed capped FWG5 you'd hit last ditch quickly but would miss a lot
Definitely not a pvp tactic though.

I am a master smuggler / 0043 pistoleer / 0040 bounty hunter.
I couldn't live without my pistols.... hitting for 3k a second with last ditch is so much fun. I hardly miss also...

You can tell by my sig that I'm more inclined to combat. But there are some very successful Smuggler / Weaponsmiths or Armorsmiths that do not use their pistol on any type of regular basis so the lack of mods doesn't hurt. In the Smuggler template thread, there is even a template devoted almost completely to making portable buffs (Smuggler + Chef).
I'm not a huge fan of crafting but we can't forget the crafting / business smugglers.

Not exatly just Pistols IV, but I'm considering dropping what little Pistoleer I do have (0-0-0-3) in favor of…something. Being a Master Commando I find I don't use the pistols all that often. Unfortunately, I can't really think of anything better to use the SP on.

I did the whole pistol thing.....while I could do many things in the game, I dropped it for Master Smuggler/Master Brawler/Master Heavy Swordsman. I find myself to be much more efficiant at killing things now. Sure LD is slow, but I uses it when the target is almost dead and trying to runaway. LB/LD is a good way to stop them from getting away, and with a 1.2spdkyrat DL-44....its done with speed and style.

I am currently Master Smuggler/TKM/ AND Master Pistol. I really love this template, even though pistoleer is not that good =P

The build I'm working on is Master Smuggler/Creature Handler with just novice pistoler(for the second bled and DX2 cert) and novice medic. The pets will do most of the work and if I get into trouble I can FD and heal up.

It's a friggn BLAST!
I love it. I went farming credits last night and made 900k in 2 hours, not even really hurrying.
Last ditch once a second is amazing, torsoshot and healthshot 2 stack, so they make a good +1k tick combined. If it is something tough I'm up against... torso torso HS2, feign.
That way they just tick off and I rest my back
Having no medic I thought would be difficult, but having feign and fighting while buffed, I usually have nothing to worry about.
Not to mention, the best gun in PVE is the scatter... high min damage, higher max... they take one krayt tissue to make, and with speed cap... you fire like crazy.

Iam currently using Pistols IVonly.
I was planing on going with the "Independent" Smuggler.
Master Smuggler
Novice Armorsmith (AUKS)
Novice Weaponsmith (WUKS)
Master Droid Engineer (Toaster Bombs) (Annoying grind... may keep novice and buy the detonator modules )
)Novice Pistoleer (Health Shot 2 / DX2 / Republic Blaster)
But, with JTL right around the corner, this template may (probably will) change.

Master Smuggler / Master TKA / Pistoleer 4040, Business IV is my current template.
Although I'd prefer to be master Pistoleer, I cannot do that and have Vendors at the same time, so my template is good for now.

I am a Master Smuggler with 1/3/2/3 in Pistoleer and am aiming to Master it. Once I do, I already have enough SEAs to shoot my Pistols at the speed cap and to get my accuracy tot he 125 cap. I also have some SEAs which grant bonuses to accuracy while moving. I have complimented this template with 2/0/0/0 Medic just so that I can heal myself in combat and cure bleeds.
This template works pretty well for me in PvP, especially since I have a pretty good selection of weapons, including a 350ish damage Geonosian blaster which chews through most of my opponents HAMs. I can't wait to reach the speed cap and star firing Last Ditch and Health Shot 2 every second
I would love to get some of the benefits of the Bounty Hunter Pistols line but at the moment, I don't have the skill points to spare

I am a master smuggler with just pistols 4. I love pistoleer, but I have already done it with one character and I didnt feel like doing it again. I was originally gonna do TK but I wanted to do something that I have never done before, and something that would be good in raids. So I am a smuggler/fencer. Yeah I guess its a strange combo, but now I can base bust and hold my own in the fight before hand.
