Caylin,
Has anything been asked by you in the corro forums or to the devs regarding the fact that we can only use our slice xp in this line but we cannot even get if we are not Master Medics?
If so, is there any sort of feedback?
As mentioned in quite a few threads, Luck and Persuassion certainly seem good add ons for Smugglers.

Yes, I have placed a few inquiries as to why we need medic skills in these missions. No reply as of yet.

If you do this mission with a friend, I suggest the friend be master doc, NOT just master medic.
Without 10 med exp pts, its gonna be really hard to do this.

Rumor has it that you need to be a master medic , to even get the quest, but a master doc to make the required medicine.

So...we trade one form of profession grinding for another...how brilliant is that?
Ah well...nothing that I've seen posted has Smuggler for any of the requirements...so I don't guess we'll have to worry about the speed grinders flowing through here anymore...

Yes Smuggler has a unique postion in the game and even more so when the village comes around. The DEVs once again have screwed over Smuggler as a class when comes to theVillage. I dropped Smuggler on my 3x master because he gave me nothing when looking at skills and grinding when came to the Village and Jedi. Not worth grinding Smuggler type of exp when easier to do others and faster. I will probably take Smuggler up on my second account or maybe even my second slot I get after I amdone with the FS grinding. As it is right now Smuggler is NOT a class you want to be forcedto grinding FS exp out on. Luckily I got 5 of the 6 lines unlocked and only 1 box more for my 24 fs boxes. It is just sad I had to feel there was no point in keeping Smuggler on my grinding (and yes this is grinding and a lot worse then profession grindingever was) character because it's so useless.
7more buff runs of 63k fs exp after conversion each run, and cussing out the worthless DEVs every step of the way!

It's only grinding if you have to have a Jedi right NOW. People who aren't so anxious can play the game as they normally do and eventually get one. It's only grinding if you're impatient.
