Thread: Price Check for the new smugglers slice tools
I disagree, I don't think that price is too far out of line. I sell (or rather, sold) the Finely Crafted Toolkits on my vendor for 100k each, and my stock of 100 sold out already!
Granted, they haven't been looted yet (as far as I know), but the components the first poster mentions only come from very tough mobs (or high-tier space enemies), so it could well be worth that much to the right buyer.
Rare as these parts are, I do not intend to buy them, I will loot them, salvage them, or use what my customers loot for thier own slices, but I WILL NOT pay some loot camper for them. they are worth nothing here.

That doesn't seem like an unreasonable price to me.
Two points: 1) This really should be in the trade forums. 2) don't mind the whiney, "I'm not paying" ones... some people have more difficulty dealing with change than others.
Imo, 100-200k is reasonable considering I've heard IG of the delicate trigger assembly's going for much higher.
Just keep in mind the July 5th hotfix will make a very large number of existing auk/wuk cratessalvageble with a slight change to convert into some of these higher endslice components.
Out fo 80+ kits Iconverted 1 reactive micro plating,8 powered motivators and 4 mando intraframes.
It has nothing to do with the "whining Im not paying for these". Some of you are not stopping to consider that some of the player base IS NOT MEGA 999million credits in the bank rich. Now, that being said, I dont have a problem paying 50k maybe 100k for the higher end slicing components, But in the same respect, they put this system in knowing that its bugged, and the components ar NOT dropping like they should. I have personally killed over 250 blacksun ships and not 1 Illegal core booster looted. So, the drop rate on these is goin to be changed, you might as well look for that. The fastest way to get these changes is have the jedi complain about it then it will be done in the next few days in a hotfix. These slices are now supposed to be more rare, ok great, they are not Really rare. Oh wait Jedi were supposed to be rare too weren't they? Maybe we missed something on that one. So, just because alot of the smugglers, NOT all of them mind you but alot of them, Are NOT happy at all with this slicing revamp, mainly because we got bent over by Bubba Dev. Alot of these guys have been slicing since slicing started, making their own tools, and getting complained at because some other smuggler is slicing for 2k less than they charged. And now all of a sudden they have to PAY someone to lootcamp for them Or do it themselves, instead of playing the game, and its called "whining" because they dont think they should have to pay for something they could make a week ago? Come on!

trigger assemblies were not obtained via Wuk's or Auk's i believe... i salvaged over 1k Wuk's and only things i got were a sh*t load of Simple/Finely crafted toolkits and 10 Illegal Core Boosters.
but anyway i think these will go for alot for the first few months. this has happened will all new content... goes for alot in the begining then the price goes down.
Look at vehicals/mounts. for awhile there they went for alot of money untill demand went down. then the price evened out.

I never said you'd get a delicate trigger assembly from converting. 
Afaik, those can only be obtained from high lvl mob drops.
These lvl 3/4 slice components that I know ofhave been converted from auk/wuk kits....Illegal booster cores, powered motivators, reactive microplatings andshock abosrbant paddings.
Not true. I salvaged about 300 WUKs and got one trigger assembly. They might be rare but you CAN DEFINITELY get them through salvage.
