Smuggler Archive

I've been glowy since they pulled the crap back in Pub 9, but in true smuggler fashion, I'm still no jedi. I had 3 branches gifted to me for ground out professions. Mind you none of those were smuggler, i got that one cause I wanted it. Now I've unlocked 4 more branches that I'm still too lazy to a) drive that far to turn in b) xp I think is harder to get than it's worth to c) turn all the way back around and grind out more xp till I must repeat steps a through c again. If I ever make jedi it will be by the devs finally giving up and just giving it to everyone

Not exactly sure why, proly just cause I'm at work and bored and can't get anywhere near pie.

Im just glad that Im not the only smuggler who feels this way. Im just dropping whatever xp I gain from hutnign with my guild into FS skills so that some day I will unlock my alt. Past that, I dont want a Jedi.

As far as I am concerned Smuggler's will always have a better community and more content than Jedi.

I think it's an issue with the type of people jedi attracts. There's so much bitterness and elitism there it makes one sick. So much trying to gain the advantage instead of using what ya got. It's disguisting. And they all want to be the best but don't want to give up anything to do it. The animosity between the jedi sects is so.. harsh.

Smugglers have never been uber. Even with the CU, and us gaining a lot of power, we're not the profession to be. We cost too much sp wise and give too little mechanical benifit. Because of this, all the power gamers stay away. Leaves us with much better people.

Thats exactly what I'm talking about.

We are dedicated to being smugglers, just check my sig, 1.5 years as a smuggler and counting. I dont think I could play this game with being a smuggler.

We rule because we accept what we are, to a degree, and make the best of what we have. Jedi always want more. Once they get bored with Jedi, they will quit. We, on the other hand, can master a few professions along with Master Smuggler and enjoy this game in a combat or non-combat oriented fassion.
