Make Shadowpaw in practice mode.

Yeah, those numbers are right. I was actually REALLY angry when I first saw how little I needed to grind to max the tree, at least until I saw the insanity involved with maxing dirty fighting. Any garbage metal will do for shadowpaw, as will any garbage cereal. I used some aluminum not fit to hold cola, and some run of the mill domestic wheat to make spices III in a little over 3 hours. Week 4 and counting on weaponsmith.....

hehe weaponsmith .... ick

I worked smuggler and weaponsmith at the same time, was at 1/2/0/4 in weaponsmith when i mastered smuggler. heh.

It definatly helped break up the pistol xp though, I would hunt till me my droid and bug were all messed up, then sit and grind barrels while we healed. Get punchy from grinding and go back to killin...

made for a nice mix.

For the earlier skill boxes of Spice, Shadowpaw is usually pretty good, just buy resources in bulk and start grinding away.

I did Shadowpaw all the way throughout, both times I mastered Smuggler...with a bunch of crafting tools and a good macro, shouldn't take you more than a couple of hours. Good luck

Shadowpaw is the best and use this macro.

to find out the number for /selectDraftSchematic go to you scematic list and count from left to right starting with zero till you get to the shadowpaw, mine is number nine but it could be different for you.

use Generic Crafting Kits, since they craft everything b/c if you use food/chem kits u cant count anything that is not food or chem.

For example say you schematic goes like this:

0) camp kit

1) random food

2) random chem

3) another random food

4) shoes

5) shadowpaw

if you are using a generic crafting kit shadowpaw will be number 5

since food/chem doesnt craft anything but food or chem, it would go more like this. /selectDraftSchematic 05;

0) camp kit

0) random food

1) random chem

2) another random food

4) shoes

3) shadowpaw

since it doesnt craft those it will be /selectDraftSchematic 03;

it may start with 1 not 0, but i cant remember, if it doesnt work then try going one number up.

BTW with this macro iwent through spices 1-4in about: 1 hour 15 minutes - 1 hour 45 minutes, of ust pure crafting. This can also be used on all other crafting professions.

One of the higher level Spices (I think it is Thrusterhead, but I could be wrong) gives more XP, if you can afford the resources (which I seem to recall are a PITA to get, for some reason)

Anyhow, as with most people, I ground the whole lot on ShadowPaw, during which time I also successfully sliced 100 terminals to make Slicing 2

What do(did) you use to grind the Spice Tree?
I just got Spices I, but it seems Shadowpaw from Novice still gives me more than anything i got from I, is that because I became good at making shadowpaw or is it simply because it just gives more?
