Ok, I am very confused on this whole Smuggler revamp situation. The devs in their reports said: The Smuggler profession will be revamped and it will be during 3 Publishes in 3 parts and it will be known has the "Smuggler Expeierece". The first part will be slicing, the second part will be combat and the third part will be like having Smugglers be hunted by Bounty Hunters or something similar to that.I waited. They did nothing. And then finally they did the first part which was the Slicing part. And Then to my knowledge they did combat (if you could even say that, they screwed up smuggler moves like Concussion Shot and Panic Shot). And then there hasnt been like anything on this Bounty Hunter thing. So thats it? Thats SOE's revamp of Smuggler? Ok... Creature Handler gets a make over.. then Squadleader is in the developements of getting completly redone. And then Smuggler... something that the devs said would be revamped a long time ago has only had a few changes and they are minor if that.

There really isn't any reason to be confused if you just follow two simple rules:

1. Believe nothing that you are told by the Devs.

2. Expect nothing that makes any sense.

And then life is so much simpler and less infuriating. It's kind of like that with politics, too.

I've kind of lost hope for any Smuggler "revamp". They screwed slicing, broke our skills, and now they're just letting us sit to rot, just like before the CU. We're not getting a revamp...

The sad part is, Rangers / Smugglers / Squad Leaders were promised revamps at a Fan Fest, then they say "they won't be revamps, per se, but mini publishes," then there are unnanounced changes which require Entertainers to get their attention, then CH gets a makeover that not a single person saw coming.

I think they would rather do the "fun" and "Exciting" profession revamps than the ones they had promised, but at least one of the three is getting what they are due.
