Thread: Returning to Pistoleer and Smuggler

Many of you people know me fairly good. After a bout as a BH then as a Rifleman, I've decided to return to Smuggler and Pistoleer.
Leaving Pist/Smuggler wasn't easy for me,but pistolsbeingnearly useless in PvP and high/mid-end PvE left me wondering exactly how much I was contributing to my guild, seeing that you can't take down a Krayt or any properly equiped person in PvP with one or aquireenough defenses to be of any real value on the PvP combat field with skillpoints tied up in smuggler.
I'll hush and not say that I'm excited with what is happening with smuggler right now, enough so that I'm returning after a six month leave from the profession. I hush in courtesy of many longtime smugglers around here who would easily spite players coming to or back to smuggler because of recent announcements.
That being said, I'm pumped as hell to return. I plan on charging 10-20k a slice and being a general hardass. Good to be back as one, and planning to master smuggler as soon as I do the spices and half of the slicing boxes.

Same here i was always a smuggler at heart though the lack of smuggling did bring a downer on things, ive even started working out my template which will have a smuggler feel master pistols, fencer 0444, and of course master smuggler.
I think the changes which are currently in concept look awesome and what ive been waiting to hear about for a long time and i look forward to actualy doing smuggler stuff.

That is smart going with those defenses from fencer man. I'm gonna pick up Nov. Medic, ranged support I, and 4040 fencer to go with pistoleer and smuggler. I am going to whip butt!
A big problem with having only M. Pistoleer is the sloooow pistol speed, so I'm in the process of buying some pistol speed tapes so I can cap with a WONDERFULL gun collection a friend bought me. He gave me a 541 geo, a 556 DE-10, a 475ish DX-2, and a 502 Republic Blaster. A kickass group of guns!!!

Nez, just a thought on your planned template. I realize this is WAY off topic, however. I'd advise you grab Fencer 4404 or 4044, because after recent testing by myself, the melee/ranged def from Fencer 4xxx WAY outperforms the added Dodge/state defs of xx4x. Besides, so many state defs are almost capped just from Pistoleer xx4x and Fencer 44xx that you will be MUCH more valuable in PvE and definitely PvP.
Other than that, Welcome back to the Smuggler Fold
