Thread: Lightsaber Slicing
Last night sliced a new Jedi lightsaber to its Type 13 stage. Got that badboy up to 1590 damage, and upon becoming Type 13 it went down to 1533 damage. Still, none the less, it was a fun and enjoyable expriance, and I can finally say, "Woo, I sliced a lightsaber!"

Both, I would imagine. We transfered through the bazzar system.
I suspect that this will be corrected very soon.
Seriously I would stay away from doing this because it is considered an exploit. Reason being is that lightsabers are not supposed to be tradeable by any means and trying to circumvent the restrictions could land you in a bit of trouble.
I don't know, maybe its NOT an exploit. I mean if the devs NEVER intended lightsabers to be traded then why even make them sliceable? Unless one can be a jedi and smuggler at once...
You could probably use a Droid's item storage and the transfer to get around this little "problem" too.
Oh and guess what guys... If this is an "exploit", he just became a true smuggler and actually "smuggled" something and preformed an "illegal" service! haha ![]()
Thank you!!! I was hoping there was a way to do it since the no-trade thing went through. You've just made a master smuggler very happy, and i dare say a young jedi too
. Just one thing tho....wasn't it a bot risky doing it through the bazaar?, what if someone else was quicker with the buy button? bye bye lightsaber ![]()
If it weren't supposed to be traded, then why can you drop them in houses, place them in driod compartments, and onto the the bazzar and solf to player vendors? In my eyes, yes, Jedi are the only one's to wield lightsabers. The danger of a player getting their hands on it and using it is very slim, due to the fact a Jedi would not just hand over thier saber to anyone. A Smuggler, they would, for obvious reasons. I did not see if a Non-FS character could wield it when I sliced it. I have no interest in wielding one, nor do I have the interest of testing it. I do my job, and just that, slice it to make it a very admirable weapon.
