I been thinking and processing a bit...and maybe I'm slow...but is a large percentage of our community roleplayers? I mean....we're obviously not smugglers in the game to "smuggle" so we must be doing something else. So...fellow smugglers rate yourself...

On a Scale of 1-10 how much are you a roleplayer?

I give myself a 9. I'm in a roleplaying guild and i roleplay my dude lots of the time. But there are the moments I just drop it entirely for the sake of my sanity. (ie. For the love of Holy Mary just click accept...CLICK ACCEPT)

I've been trying to roleplay more often, considering I've done just about everything else in the game.

the new emotes really help. I RP mostly with emotes. just responding with the appropriate oneis kind of fun. i really wanted to RP when i first started but it wasnt very popular,after a while i lost my RP spirit but now trying to get it back.

Probably about an 8ish. I'm too lazy and discouraged and bored to roleplay (I mean it's hard to roleplay by yourself and sometimes...sigh..it's just so much work when talking to someone who doesn't).

i dont give my self a score, on chilastra i have a hard time roleplaying because most ppl dont catch on that u r a roleplayer

I generally tryto take everything my character says and filter it through Rodian culture, my character's IC knowledgeand criminal interests, whether it be IC or... those semi-IC moments.

Like, instead of being a lowercase "smuggler" shouting, "U WANT 2 HEP ME W/4444 SMUG ALEGENCE MISHUN?" I walked up to people and asked, "Say. You look like the type who would be interested in assuring safe package deliveries by force andpromoting unregulated trade throughout this star system. Am I wrong?"

And then I'd get insulted and nearly challenged to a duel because I asked an Imperial pilot who was out of uniform...

Of course, this behavior has led to some rather interesting slicing contracts and a probably asmall price on my character's head. I'm getting off subject.

I'd rate myself at a... 8-9? When in space it is hard not to break character and tell people to get prepared because you know a dozen TIEs are about to jump out of hyperspace in advance... because you've done the exact same mission many times before.

For a while I had one character specifically for RP, but he wasn't my smugler. I like the idea of roleplaying and tell myself that I'll do it more often, but I don't. I'm probably a 4 on a scale of 1-10.

i just recently got into rping and ill tell you i like it alot, it scratches me right where i itch, but because im new at it i would have to say that my score will have to be low. id say about a 6. maybe. i rp jokingly with my friends sometimes. its hard to explain because my character is me and reacts like i would, i dont play a character that is different from me. my character has a very in depth backstory but it all encompasses the way i play ie. just being myself... so when i jokingly rp with my friends ill explain something i just did because of my backstory .. for example, before jtl i hated going to dathomir because it costs like hell. over 7k from naboo and back. EVERYTIME!. so i would rarely go andcomplain when i had to go with my guild. so instead of saying it costs too much, i told my friends that i dont like going to dath because my character had escaped the imperial prison there and vowed never to return =)

but like i said i am getting into RP more and more and look forward to envolvement in more stories. i never wear any smuggler tags (mostly so people leave me alone about needing a slice done) but its good for Rp because you cant just walk around in the open as a smuggler. =) thats like saying "hi im a bankrobber. what do you do?" hehe. I have a safehouse and ive started to write about my game character in a story o the RP boards called 'SHEL' so im getting to like my character more and more... oops tangient..

my rating would be a 6 going on 8 or so =)

It's been fun...

I figure I am about a 7. I would like to be more but its problematic since I have friends on both sides in the GCW. But I do things like try to run from corsec rather then risk killing a "cop" and dont slice in public places to aviod getting caught.

At RP events I do stay in charter tho I wish there where more of these.
