Thread: HOw will you smugglers feel when the jedi get feign death nerfed?

Jedi use feign death constantly these days. They get only smuggler dirty fighting 1 and use it to avoid the challenges that their profession is supposed to face.
It will doubtlessly cause feign death to be nerfed. No one is sure how it will change.
But what do you think of them abusing your skill and you guys will ultimately suffer.
I do also believe that smugglers need the most help and not any more nerfs.

iv noticed only leveling jedi have it, if i were a jedi id probably pick it up as well being black bared compared to grinding back 100K+ XP sounds like a more sensible idea.
But i do think it should be a master smuggler ability anyway.

There is a simple solution to this problem move it to master or dirty 4

Moving it doesn't resolve it's other issues and it's not just jedi but bounty hunters as well.
It's going to need some adjustment, quite a bit of it actually. We just need to get used to that idea and try to meet the devs halfway. I have been begging constantly for information on what they are doing with the skill. I haven't had any results from that yet and God willing once they get the sandbox up and running, we will get to see what they have in mind and will try to change what doesn't work.

I'd like to see what is coming from the Combat Upgrabalavamp.
As far as Jedi using FD:
Imperial officer: Lord Vader we have tracked and incapacitated another 1500 Jedi today. We were unable to kill 1337 of them because they were playing dead.
Darth Vader : What? This failure is unexcusable.
*Vader opens a communication window with SOE*

I for one Don't want to meet the Devs halfway. I will accept that Feign death must be changed. But it needs to be FULLY accepted by us, as the people who use it.

Once you've been beaten within an inch of your life, one more kick to the ribs doesn't make much difference.
So I imagine I'd feel pretty much the same as I do now.

Don't remove FD, move it to Master smuggler. No Jedi or BH will be spending so much SP just for the FD. And it feels right for it to be a MS move, since it is one of the best combat moves in the game. When i had master smuggler there was NO way for me to die in PvE, and I loved it.

thats just the thing, it shouldnt be so lightly taken, it should have something result if you mess it up, i mean, c'mon! it should stay 0010 smuggler, but a jedi shouldnt jump on it EVERY time they seea blue dot!?!

Well Jedi problem is ....... well complicated. Easiest solution that I see is that if jedi USES FD in PvP he loses 1/2 of the XP rather than all of it.

Same way we feel evertime the DEV's screw us.

I personally am a Jedi and do not have FD. Just take your xp loss and walk away, personally, you are much smarter if you take up other skills (def stacking) or healing skills to help the grind go by.
And really, you shouldn't be on the terms at low level anyways, unless you deserve it by being an idiot flashing your jedi-ness around. The lower lvl jedi you are, the less xp loss you suffer. If you're a higher level combat-able jedi and have FD, then you're really wasting skill points, and not to mention are a really big puss. At themoment they FD, I drop every DOT known to man (whenever I go jedi slaying). Hell I even heal the guy just so I can continue beating on him. (I don't recommend this at all, but its hella funny).
