I would have thought a jedi would be able to shake off root... if they are strong with the force. But you'd ummm... have to be special. I would rather they made a counter command on the force treethan just get rid off. Root is used in all the other games.

Are you thinking of Concussion Shot? I believe Last Ditch can only do damage as I have rarely used it.

Rooting's not the problem, Last Ditch is the "problem"...

We need to know if this has come up in the dev forum. If it has, I'll start packing my bags right now

I would also recommend, Wes, that when you see this, you let the Devs know that the Jedi getting their way would NOT be taken lightly, and if they were so inclined, they shuld probably come here and talk to us IN PERSON and BEFOREHAND.

Because as it stands, the instant we see anything about a nerf going through without some serious communication, I sincerely belive that almost all of the Smuggler Community is going to go BH faster than anyone thought possible and do a level best to hunt Jedi to extinction. It's really that big a deal.

and who thought the CU would "fix" the professions and end the nerf bats... LD works as it should, you use it, you pay almost as much as they do. Aren't Jedi dabbling in smuggler so they can feign death anyway? I say move LD to master smuggler so you can't dabble it into your template and be done with it.

touche, then how about they make hunting jedi master BH as well? That way only the master BH/Master smuggler can FD against a jedi, and it isn't all that solid a template so they deserve the extra help. There has got to be a way to end this without a big ol' nerf hitting smugglers who just want to SMUGGLE something.

There won't be for much longer, if this trend continues

It is good to see people trying to find the 'middle ground' (like the MSmuggler or MBH requirement proposals)..that's a good attitude.

HOWEVER...

The fact does remain...

like the other person said, OTHER PEOPLE PLAY THIS GAME TOO.

They've gotten their fixes. There were 2 jedi revamps. The combat upgrade was for all of the pissants who complained about game balance. They had their chance, now they are nitpicking and going after things that ARE NOT BROKEN.

The reason this is such a big deal is that they are attacking a community that has HAD ENOUGH...and to make matters worse, it is the COMMUNITY THAT HAS HAD THE MOST HOOK-UPS (aka spoiled jedi) IS ATTACKING US.

Yes, I will rant and rave, complain and moan, and in between make respectable arguements on this subject until it is satisfactorily remedied.
