I charge 7k /slice, no matter what % i get!!!
STOP with those 1k, 2k under 20% free slices!!!!!
BE PROUD to be a smuggler
CHARGE atleast 7k/slice
SMUGGLERS earn more respect then getting 3k for a slice... people will always ask for a slice even if they are 3k or 10k, same goes for master doctors, they've been smart to raise their prices, we should to

Just so I get this straight, you want anyone who charges less than you to chargethe sameor more than you?

forget 7k, go 10k! double on a whiner and never look back, its been working great for me these past few days

Howmuch more are we going to go over this? I WILL CHARGE WHAT I WANT! And I want to charge 3k. I am also paying 15 dollars a month and I will do as I please as long as i'm not breaking the rules. And charging 3k a slice is NOT breaking the rules. I'm tired of hearing people WHINE and cry for other smugglers to charge more so that they can make more money. Everyone can charge what they want. If you want to charge 15k then go ahead, charge 15k. But Do NOT EVER tell me what I have to charge for a slice. I dont' do it to you so don't do it to me.

I think the game economy is really good right now... 10k is fair 
The DOC's are starting to raise their prices, why shouldn't we charge for our skillzzzzz?

Gotta agree with ya xTekx. I'll charge whatever I think is fair. If people want to charge more than me, then go ahead; if people want to charge less than me, then go ahead. There have been so many threads in this forum where people try to direct others to charge more or less for slicing, spice, and faction points. None of those threads ever succeeded, because there will always be people who want to charge more or charge less and it's their every right to charge whatever they want.
Way back when, I used to charge 1.5k per slice, and I chose that amount because it's what I thought was fair at the time. I got accused of "under-cutting" constantly, but I didn't care because to me it was still a fair price. That's all that matters, not regulating Smugglers to charge similar prices, but charging what you think is fair. Fair to the customer, and fair to the Smuggler. Don't tell other people what to think of as a fair price, that's for them to decide.

When I first started out I charged 100 credits per % increase, then I changed to charging 5k per armor segment and 3k per weapon segment, and now its 5k foe every item sliced, 50k for a compo suit, the only people I dont charge are my friends or guildes. It's not like I depend on slicing, I like it it's a whole different way to make money, you talk yo people and socialize a bit, like yesterday i made 500k between slicing and selling fp, which really made my day, I was short on money and wanted to but that new wookiee armor lol... Anyways made me like my profession even more.
Also this is out of context, but what do you charge for selling FP?? I personally think that if you charge 125crd per fp your not making a lot of profit, i would like to charge 150 better... what do you fellow smugglers think?

It used to be convenient for the first couple of months. Then the devs realized people were using this to buy walkers. So they added the purchase cap. Very stupid. In my oppinion, anyway.

why fix prices? thats the reason we are startign to pay more for buffs, adn how the economy got out of hand in the first place.

Any reason we are still seeing " charge this much for slicing " posts?? I am a Master Smuggler, have been for almost a year now, its whatI do, andI love the class.I'll never change. We are shady, criminal types, so why would I not undercut your slicing prices to get more business? You will ge tmad when ppl gripe about prices and find out yoru not much of a fighter with only Master Smuggle and leave the profession, like all the holo guys did. Personaly my prices depends on what planet I am on, how many items the customer need sliced and what I am on my way to do when i get a /tell. If the weaps are bulk and for resale, hell yeah I charge more, the WS are going to make a killing , why not get in on that. If its a helm for a guy on dant, hes there to make money, so am I. A scout blaster guy on Tat, cheap or free, just the way I do business. You know what? I have ppl actually fly to me , no matter where I am just to get slices because they have heard of me, or they are a return customer. I must be doing something right for a guy to take a round trip to Yavin , just for 2 slices. So I could care less what ppl want me to charge for slicing. Lets get a couple posts about what can be done to the class to make it more viable in SWG or Smuggler missions terms, or actual reasons to master Underworld and Smuggler besides the pride you feel when you wear the tag. Basicly, stuff that matters.
