Let me guess...
Armor Effectiveness?
Get used to it...and wait until you hit 11%...which I've done on several occasions...

It happens and the customer should understand that. We have no control over what happens. Plus, is armor is better than what it was before, so you should charge him something.
Stores still charge ppl for lottery tickets even when they don't win anything.

Bah!...the only time I've ever given away slices is when LSU won the SEC Championship...and that's only because I was in a REALLY good mood and was just slicing everything for free. And even then, people would STILL tip me even though I didn't ask for it. And when my guildies needed a slice, that was free too...
Other than that, EVERYBODY paid up...even for a crappy 11% Effect slice on that 50k comp chestpiece. An improvement is an improvement, and just for my time and frustration, somebody's going to pay...

Masters arn't suppose to get 11 percent... according to SOE's own guidelines.. im not charging for that kind of slice.

What SOE guidelines?
They've never commented on actual numbers, and extensive testing has most of us to the same conclusions:
Master Slicing:
Armor Effect: 11-35%
Armor Encumb: 15-45%
Weapon: 15-35%
Armor Encumb: 15-45%
Weapon: 15-35%
Given those findings, I'm getting paid unless I hit something outside of those figures.
BTW: This is also in the FAQ...

From what I read... in these forums.. a master should get nothing less than 15% on any slice.. I'll have to find the post and link it.
