From a smugglers viewpoint, this first episode is truely proving to be smuggler-ish.

Dante - glad you went out and got this, phenominal show. I think you will enjoy it very much. The only real thing that sucks, is once you get to that last disc and realize...there is no more

My eyes got wide when she got shot. But I loved the scene at the end of ep 1 when the cap gets revenge on the lawman... lol.
I've had a bit of trouble locating it through my job(Hastings), and don't wish to use Amazon and the like, 'cause if I decide to buy series, I don't get used copies, too much chance to get bad discs.
Finally, it doesn't look like I'll be able to watch it be re-aired on SciFi this Friday, since I work Friday, from 6:00 to Close, and it airs at 6:00 Central. I may not get to see it at all, as I normally work *each* Friday. There have been exceptions, but not many.
Oh well. I'll see it, eventually.

Actually in all honesty, River and Simon are the only 2 characters that slightly bug me. With River its just simply the fact that she's always in the 'crazy' out of it mode. But, its not enough to make me dislike either of them.
My fav quote is from the 'Shindig' episode. I won't ruin it for Dante by posting it though before he/she gets to see it.
Fav episode: 'Out of Gas'. Hands down.
Close 2nd: Toss up between 'Trash' and 'Ariel'
As cure as Kaylee is, Inara kicks my ass, her secksiness knows no bounds. But, I'd take either.

Fox aired only a few episodes and they were not in the intended order. I watch the first couple with a friend and was lukewarm on the series. But soon as we hit disk two i was ready tosell my fleshfor another season.
Fav episodes: Out of Gas, War Stories.

Also went amazon, $29 and free shipping. My WIFE even loves the series...and she hates Sci-Fi

. I borrowed the series off a friend and started out just watching the first episode.. ended up watching it all the way through . Picked it up for £18 on sale last week and watched the first three episodes last night .Amazon's great, it primarily sells new stock and offers the used sellers market on the side, so aslong as you ensure you're looking at the right listings, you'll be getting a brand new product.
not that i havent seen all the firefly eps multiple times =)
(btw, netfix has these disks too, if you run with them)
