Thread: 23% speed slice on a Kryat scatter pistol? Come on Sony!!

The guy has a nice kryat scatter pistol and my tools are ALL 99% or better and the poor guy gets a 23% speed slice on this hyper expensive scatter pistol...and max damage is not even over 200!! I couldn't charge the guy and i am sure he was as broken hearted as i was frustrated...why doesnt' this game give credit to an avatar that has been a smuggler for months.....my slices are no better (maybe worse) than someone who uses scrap tools and just became a master smuggler two minutes ago......or a level 4 smuggler even...Things need evened up for the toon that has stayed true to a profession for any length of time...credit should be given where credit is due.

let it all out!

open your window, stick your head out and SCREAM!

but realize that for every occation of someone getting "srewed" enough to come here and vent, there are lots of satified slicing customers.

hehe a couple weeks ago I sliced a prenerf acklay bone stun baton... for 17% speed.


those things go for over 20 million on my server... so you can imagine how he felt

Why would you think that tool quality and type of weapon would make a difference on any slice? Or are you just venting? If so, do like the previous poster said, or go shoot some Scavenger Ratswith a Powered-Up T21 or(your weapon of choice here). It makes me feel better to blast an ugly rat into oblivion (Never ask me what happened to my brother... he's.... uhh... "on vacation".)

Meh, who cares? You can't control it nor can the owner of the pistol. It's kinda like being a blackjack dealer at high priced table in a casino and not making a guy pay up when he just lost $10,000. It was his choice to gamble. He lost. His problem.


I just can't see the logic it giving somebody a free sliceeven if the slice was of questionable usefulness. They know the risks if they're buying krayt weapons. Plus, there's this fact: even with a questionably useful slice, you still improved the pistol! By 23% even!


Personally, I think speed mods should be far less than they are. Seriously, when half the combat professions hit the speed cap with their weapons, it really destroys the usefulness of speed slices, speed power ups, high speed weapons, etc. There's fast, then there's too fast. Currently, it's too fast.

Cry me a river... You as a MS for 4 months should know by now that you nor the buyer have ANY control over a slice. Not to mention that the speed modifier did increase the weapons damage per second.



If you want to whine, and cry, and complain, STOP PLAYING.



I get so sick of all the crying on the forums. If it is that bad /cancel your account and go play CoH.

majority of customers seem to be cool about bad slices, those that arent, well they payed up front so... They just have to make due with the slice they get.


They can /grumble all they want to me after. i'll just keep my red lizard eyes staring at the wall of a cantina and close chat window.

lol at ATA...it sounds to me like your crying about peeps crying on the forums...rofl. Can you say hipocrite Ata...here is a definition if you don't understand what a hipocrite is ata:He's a hypocrite - he's always lecturing other people on the environment but he drives around in a huge great car. Substitute the word cry and there you have yourself ata. You need to look to yourself before judging. And your opinion is just that utu or ata...an opinion and nothing more. Aside from the stupid flame from ata I think that any profession should be some kind of point reward for staying in that profession. I don't know about the other servers but during the grind you couldn't find a good weaponsmith armosmith doctor.....etc. Seniority should have its perks.....unless of course you have that white collar itch.
