Thread: A slighty different point of view
It was more than one smuggler thank you very much. How would you feel after yuo where banned for simply saying "hey any news?" I bet you you'd be in the think of it as well. I've been playing this game for 2 years but this is the lowest of the low. Banning people for simply asking about information.

Well it's starting to look like the Jedi forum.
I like Angus. If he has to serve a 7-day forum ban, that will bother me however I'll tell you right now I'm not gonna take the poison pill, I'm not gonna join a protest and get banned in the game, etc. If I have a problem with what SOE is doing I know how to write an email and a letter, how to register it so it has to be signed by the intended recipient, etc.
I make my protests known with my wallet and with pen and paper.
All the "TELL ME SOMETHING AND TELL ME RIGHT NOW" threads in there aren't going to get any more attention that what we've gotten recently. Do you really think anyone from the Community Relations group is saying "Well folks, we banned a Smuggler poster today, better step in there and see what they have to say about it."?
This is supposed the be the forum that's different than all the rest. Remember?
Gaitan, we've been 'different' and patient for over two years. It has done us absolutely NO good...none.
Maybe they won't notice us after making us irate but I can tell you THIS after two years of experience; they most CERTAINLY will NOT notice us if we carry on the Smuggler status quo.
I'm gone July 31st as I promised barring any SERIOUS smuggling content. I will vote with my wallet and I will send letters to Sony and Lucas Arts and I WILL boycott their products.
BUT, until then I'm going to go down kicking and FREAKING screaming because NO good smuggler goes out quietly and submissively.

I didn't see what was posted, only have hearsay to go on. I'm not accusing you of lying, but being "banned" obviously hasn't slowed you down since you've quickly made a new account and evaded the ban. So tossing out the "I got banned" argument is a bit lame in my opinion. Your other username can't post for a week, but you're still here.
As for what I would do if I had been banned, I think I've been pretty clear on it. I'd write letters, emails, make phone calls, etc. I wouldn't be wasting my time posting on these forums any more, and I for sure wouldn't be throwing a temper tantrum and starting thread after thread about the same thing.
Like I said, it's starting to look like the Jedi forum in here, and that's a shame.
For 2 years, the Smuggler profession has been nerfed and neglected.
For 2 years, the Jedi and BH have been revamped, improved, tweaked, and given content.
Forgive us if we have learned from past experience.
Well hot dog! Haven't you noticed the Jedi get all the consideration???? What we've BEEN doing hasn't worked in the slightest in case you hadn't noticed. Nah, you're looking to get banned so you can always argue that leaving SWG wasn't your own doing.
You know damn good and well that there won't be any changes installed before July 31st. Pub 20 hits on the 19th and that will probably do it for the month of July. In other words, you've already quit SWG, you just want to vent your spleen before you walk out. You're already gone, you just won't suck it up and admit it.

I think we should be able to smuggle as well. I never got into the "beer and pie" aspects, and I think the slicing system stinks to the point that I don't even bother with it anymore.
I don't need to make myself look good at all, you're doing a fine job of it all on your own with every idiotic post you make filled with poor grammar and spelling. Yeah, I really want someone that writes like a moron out in the lead speaking for the Smuggler community.
