I call BS. If he was our upgrade/revamp/thingthatwillneverhappen would have been a slam dunk a long time ago.

I have to agree. Especially in light of how he handled the Imperial crackdown fiasco.

Pex is so rebel it hurts. The sod keeps sending system messages to all rebels on Starsider to come gank a small bunch of Imps. Imps, you'll note, don't get the memo.
The small bunch gets a bazillion rebel glowbats, though. Briefly. And then they get to go clone. Whoop-de-doo.

Actually Rich, my imp toon gets a system message every time Rebels are gathering to attack a base.

unfortunately, the CR people at SOE have either been ignored or have no backbone. Tiggs made a statement the other day that the devs will do what they think is best even if the community doesn't agree. if CR had a voice, one way or the other, this would never happen. it is CR's job to make sure the community's wants and needs are translated and listened to at the top. but, like i said, either they are being ignored or not pushing hard enough. no idea which, but either way something needs to change.
What don't you agree about??? My whole diatribe was discussing WHY I consider their CR positions impotent based on the fact that the producersDO NOT LISTEN to them.
Did you not read a few posts up where the programmers hate TH coming around because he's asking them so many questions. TH and Tiggs are doing their jobs as best they can.
I FULLY and COMPLELTELY think the break in the chain is with the game producers. THAT is where the REAL decisions are made, and that is where they are messed up.
It wouldn't happen if they listened to their CR people, but the managers/producers of these kinds of games have a very low, low opinion of the gamers that play them. Don't believe me? Just by posting in these forums, you are automatically assumed to be a passionate, one-track minded, hardcore gamer with a high probability of having no life or job.
The producers choose not to listen. It is crystal clear. The only things that they DO listen to are masses of people raising hell, posting whines, or cancelling accounts. The rest of our mild-mannered, well-thoughtout ideas are garbage to them.

Sorry had to say something about it in the thread. I was nice cause I'm sure he does dig Solo but I had to say something....
For those of you that any concept that Thunderfart is for the Smugglers, I present you with one of the many snaps he's taken at us. After numerous set-backs, delays, and broken promises last year, TF made this remark about our community's accusations that there were shanagans going on with our revamp:

I actually posted a link to this in the Smugglers forums. Your right.. he skipped right by it. I've been waiting to see if he would come back to it or not.
Please stop propagating silly rumors and conspiracy theories. It just isn't true. After JtL, GreenMarine will be going forward with the Smuggler Revamp (schedule unannounced). Early on, one of the main reasons we didn't want to talk about it is for just this reason.
