Twice now I've been told by a certain CSR that SW subcomponents cannot be made by a factory. My problem began when my mark 2 armor reinforcement panel subcomponents disappeared in one of my equipment factory.. This certain CSR came online and simply told me "all sw components are not suppose to be made on a factory"... Incase she/he reads this, here is the patch note from Nov 4th correcting my problem..

Incase you missed it, I highlighted it in orange......Beverly

I hate to say it, but every time one of my tickets has been answered by BeverlyK, I have been astounded by the lack of SWG knowledge this person has.

I would suggest closing that ticket (if it hasn't been already) and submit another at a different time of day/night. Or you can try to quote the patch notes in your ticket. You're probably better off just trying to get a different CSR. I've always had good luck and gotten helpful CSRs, but I know that there are some that aren't as good or knowledgeable as others.

Since Beverly didn't help me the first time, I contacted a CSR in launchpad chat, he helped me with my factory issue.. But... Afterwards, the disappearing crates where sitting on the desert ground and I could not pick them up, so I submitted another ticket to have theitems put in my inventory. That ticket was answered by none other than...Beverly. She, again, reminded me I couldn't make SW subcomponents on a factory, but I did get the items though. I understand what some might say.. Yes, I got my issue resolved, but lets look at the bigger picture... This CSR is telling me that I cannot make those items on a factory. Its just plain wrong. CSR's need to play this game, cause they need allot about it.

If you think that's bad, you should see the post from an upset Jedi regarding his CSR response. He hadn't logged onto his Jedi in 3 weeks, yet a bounty was taken on him minutes after he popped on. His question was regarding the visibility timer, and the CSR told him update his video drivers so he could see his Jedi. *_*

Who knew the secret to Jedi's was hidden in your video drivers..

You seriously expect CSR's to be informed? You gotta be kidding me!!! Do you realize what CSR stands for? Clueless Slobbering Retard!
Here is my latest CSR fun.
I went to the corvette to run the Rebel Destroy mission. The mission was successfully completed. For some reason the message did not pop up on my screen, but it did for the two that were with me. So we make our way to the escape pods and leave. So I send a ticket in about my missing badge and reward. I tell the who the other players were that went with me. The first response I get is basically sorry there is nothing we can do send a bug report. I reply to the ticket and tell them if they can't check the logs and give me what I earned, then they need to compensate me for my lost time.
I get a reply from a CSR that claims to have looked at the logs and he tells me that since I used the escape pod to leave I don't get the badge! He seems to fully believe that if you use the escape pod to leave the corvette, you fail the mission, regardless of whether you completed the tasks or not! Now if the clueless little nimrod had paid attention, I was the LAST of the 3 of us to leave after the other two had received the mission complete message. So there should be no doubt that I was present until after the completion of the mission. To make matters worse, the little nimrod closed the ticket so I couldn't reply and explain that.
So we went back a couple days later and did it again. Fortunately no one got bugged that time.
Seriously, the CSR's really should be people that have experience playing the game so they actually have a clue what they are talking about!!! Not to mention that an IQ test should be required with a minimum score of at least 110.

They get the respect they earn. No more, no less. Thus far they are working negative numbers.
I have done customer service, and my current career is the ultimate in customer service (911 Dispatch), so I have a good understanding of the challenges of their job.
I have no sympathy if they don't even bother to try and learn their job and actually service the customer. I have yet to meet a CSR or read a CSR ticket that actually shows any sort of competence. Right now I consider the biggest problem with SWG to be the total lack of competentcustomer service.

hehe, the best one to me (aside from the Jedi "visibility" one) was when one base got bugged and wouldn't go hot. The owner tried resetting the time but it wouldn't allow him to. So he submitted a ticket explaining that and asking for help with the issue. The CSR that responded threatened to ban his account if he didn't reset the vuln time.

I understand your frustration, trust me, I've had my moments with them as you can see.. Some may not know what they are talking about, but they are still people. Lets not resort to disrespect.

Added an "All purpose" ship repair kit for Master Artisans
