Thread: CSR's Need To Be Informed........

I must say that the majority of my interactions with csr's has lead me to conclude that they 1. do not know much about the game, 2. do not care if they provide "service" to anyone, and 3. just want you to go away. It is a bit of a relief to find that several folks share my experience.

But I have had occasional pleasant and productive interactions, so they are not all evil SOB's.

My constructive recommendation is that there should be two things: 1. a live chat channel staffed by actual gamers to address in-game issues unresolved to the satisfaction of the "customer" and 2. an in-game issues message board so some of these foolish episodes can be exposed to daylight and dealt with. It is frustrating and nightmarish to try and deal with people who have the power to close your conversation at will. And there is persently no significant appeals process available when the csr is just wrong.

no, wait, i saw this game... "pong" i think it was called. it was really easy to understand! maybe you could make swg more like pong! think of it! fast paced action! iconic characters! MORE FUN!

I'v had many issues, not with csrs, but with technical support accross a wide range of issues, software and hardware alike, many instances where familly members and myself have called in, visited the vendor in question, or emailed over issues and requesting help, I have found on many occasions these tech support and csr representatives to be full of missinformation, I surmise its because they are either lazy when it comes to reveiwing the latest information, or unquallified to do there job, if Ipracticed the same lack in my own job, my company would be held accountable and bankrupt within the year. I have come to take everything I am told with reguards to support game wise and cp alike with some skepticism, I prefer to keep updated on all known issues, patch notes, software incompatabilities and the like, I found forums to be a more reliable scource of information in the whole of things as well.

I did a quick foum search and the advice of thepost from the early days still applies today. If you have problems with one CSR, then go over their heads by sending something to their supervisor. Another suggestion would to do a /report so thatthe texton your screen will becaptured and sent to CRS.

Jeassawrote:

CSRs do not regularly check this forum, and they are not able to post here (with the exception of RobynR and PatrickM). I suggest emailing [email protected] in regards to this issue... If you email [email protected] you may either have the email directed to a supervisor so they may review this issue further to possibly see about handling issues like this differently in the future.....

hehe

I've had an outstanding issue with CSR's, I'm not going to go into what the issue was but this is what happened:

Asked about 5 CSR's in launcher general char before getting a responce to email [email protected]

Tried the live chat, was asked to email [email protected]

Emailed [email protected] and got a rather default response back, replyed, got another useless response back, replyed, please speak to CSR about this matter (LOL)

Speak to CSR, please email [email protected]

Email swgsupport again and find they are just ignoring me now! (ROFL)

It was a fairly minor issue but I kept this going to see if they would actually resolve it, all they managed to do was pass it over to someone else!
