Seems to vary quite a bit. I was going like 8cpu when the prof first came into game but didnt matter ppl still paid way to much for pure crap back then from starport camping shipwrights. Id just suggest selling it at what ya feel is reasonable anymore. If it cost you 3 cpu to harvest the stuff then add a few more on for the crafting and all. Cant really go by what anyone else says anymore heck they say sell stuff at 3 cpu from your shipwright but be damned if theyre gonna sell ya stim d's and food at those prices Make it reasonable ya might sell some and retain customers best suggestion i can give ya

Ok...I've tried reading the forums to stay with the rest of my professionals on pricing. What I've seen is 10/20/40/100/500 for pricing on the ships and I've heard around 1mil on Master level ships. I was using these pretty decently, but when I made my first aggressor on my server, I did a vendor search. Aggressor's are running 100k-300k (most were 100-200). Ummm...is this what most are doing? I can't see barely 1cpu for an aggressor. Advice?

Unfortunately, the CURB/respec flooded alot of elite professions with ignorant masters who are using sub-standard resources. These are the people who are pricing their ships too low. I charge 3-5cpu for most ship chassis. I mine my own resources and have a couple of good sub-contractors, so I can do that and still turn a decent profit. I was charging 375k for master level ships and just raised it a smidge.

Try this for more acurate cost:

Calculate the actual cost of the materials, then add a "hourly wage" multiplier. If you only price to cover the cost of the metals and not your effort, you won't even break even. (lets not get into the cost of rent, crafting tools and stations, city taxes, etc etc...a "real" answer would need a CPA to figure out good pricing)

You sell your ships?

I made a Heavy Syck for a guy for free. He supplied the resources(cept for the 'roids) and I didn't charge him....

I don't bother making chassis anymore, there's a zillion of them out there at stupid, stupid prices. I just direct my customers to the nearest bazaar terminal.

While I see many don't sell them anymore,I haven't yet reached MSW. I use the sells to supplement my income, especially for buying resources to make chassis to grind the profession.

For those of you who do sell them, what price level at?

Just to add 6cpu is for the person off the street, regular customers and certainly guild mates pay less, sometimes a lot less.

Well I only stock master level ships, and I sell them all for 3 CPU 450k). I generally stock 2-3 of the popular ones (Decimater and Nova) and 1 or 2 of the other types of master. I use any resources I can find for 1.5 CPU or less.

Important, probably, to mention your sever in this discussion. (Starsider)

Newb: 6,000 (these have never sold well since newbie ships got hyperspace)

Tier 1: 30,000

Tier 2: 50,000

Tier 3: 250,000

Tier 4: 500,000

Master: 1,000,000 (custom order only)

I am way too expensive, but they still sell at a pace of their own,and I don't want to price them cheaper. The resource chase is too much of a pain.
