I know they drop off the Kuat loot since Kuat Industries is the maker of the Firespray but do they drop off ANY space loot? I'm thinking about paying a premium for Kuat loot if it's the ONLY loot that drops the disks. Input please....

they definately drop off any loot when you RE em. i got my 8/8 fragment off a non-kuat part on wednesday as a novice shipwright.

What components RE'd are dropping them?Kuat is the only one?

Any specific type of components?

I've only gotten one from a Kuat component RE:1

All components/names have a chance of dropping the disks. We have 6 disks total, and have gotten them from weapons, shields, capacitors, engines...and I got at least one disk from every type back in Beta. Name doesnt seem to matter at all.

So since live you got them from other races(i assume that is what they are) other then kuat?

Yes. Actually, we havnt gotten one piece on live from a Kuat device.

I have RE'd probably close 2000 items and got 3 disks total. I bought every loot item that could be RE'd off the bazaar twice and RE'd them.

Holocrons all over again. LOL. Get 2 back to back then nothing for a week.

Do you get the REed component and the schematic, or just the schematic piece?

You get the RE'd component and the x/8 schematic. I am about 1 out of 500 right now...

Kuat = higher chance

but all items potentially give a Firespray disk.

On Naritus YCS has almost accomplished the task ... only one disk (#3) missing. But then, the whole syndicate is supplying loot at incredible rate.
