OK as being an Imperial I can only paint my Verteran Reward ship. Sorry that I'm Imperial to all u rebels lol.
Anyway. I was wondering , do the paint kits work or even the texture kits?
I used some and was viewing my ship at the same time and the color did not change.
So do the kits work?

Haven't tried on the Snoroslug 3000, but they're working on Rebel and Privateer ships

Yes they work great. I have a ship that has a jagged wing pattern in red, with the rest of the ship in a black as night, black.
It looks great.

I don't suppose anyone has screenshots or descriptions of the various textures?

The preview window won't update until you close it and reopen after texturing/coloring.
I too would like to see screenshot of the 5 different textures.

I tried to paint my veteran Yacht and it didn't take that I noticed. Painted it, closed the window, and then launced into space adn zoomed out...its still white.

I have had no trouble with mine. If you want to see the paint changes before applying them you can do it by going to the Starship Terminal and selecting your ship and then clicking on Manage. WHile this window is up apply the paint kit. You can preview your paint options in that window before you accept.
The Texture kit will show up immediately in that window too but there is no way to preview a texture change before applying it.
This so far has worked for me on Alliance ships and the sorusuub3000.

I put the Flame Texture on my YWing! Kit #5. With some nice colors like yellow and red from a paint kit, it looks awesome!

I sold that one and a couple of paint kits to a guy last night. Apparently his PA has decided on a standard color and texture scheme for all their ships, so he needed to paint his x-wing. Neat idea.
It would be nice if there was some place shipwrights could go to see what the different colors and combinations look like. Neither he or I had any idea how it worked, luckily he knew what texture kit he needed. Being Imperial myself, I'm stuck with "any color you want as long as it's black". ![]()
