For those trying to retexture and paint your Yachts......
Paint it first, then try the textures, if you try to texture first you will not be able to see the difference.

the veteran reward yacht can not be selected in the manage setup at a starship terminal. do we have to lunch into space everytime just to see if we liked the paint color or texture? you can see the ship in the window, you just cant amage it. will it change in the window without selecting it?

So does any one have pics of the different textures for the Yacht (SoroSub veteran reward).
I want to paint mine but don't know what the variations look like.

only problem with some of these texture shots is that they are the "official" six textures, but only five textures are shown, and not numbered. someone posted "un-official" texture screen shots that were much more helpful at imagedump, but my link to those is mysteriously absent from my puter this morning.

Texture Kit 1 is the starting Texture. Because of that you will find most of the time Kit 2 to 6 in those threads.

These were both very helpful sites for the yacht textures. There are pictures of all six textures on both.

Scroll down to the section marked Complete Ship Information. Lots of great pics here too.
Good luck and happy painting!

Another thing to keep in mind is that the lower level texture kits paint less of the ship and the higher level texture kits paint more of the ship. So if you use a level 1 texture kit it only puts a couple of little dabs of color on most ships, but if you use a level 6 texture kit it will paint the majority of the ship and usually with a more exotic pattern.

And as has been mentioned before ALWAYS PAINT BEFORE TEXTURE. If you texture first you will not see anything because your colors are still set to the default. Pick your colors first, paint, then you can use the starship terminal to see what each texture kit will look like before applying it.

As a Master SW the texture kits I sell the most are 4 and 6.
