Thread: OMG!!!!! WTH!!!!! 200k xp to get Master?????
I wish we could use excess SW experience to buy stuff, kinda like faction points.
Don't fix this.........Shipwright should be hard to get, andthat necessitatesa lot of crafting. All of us already met that standard, so SOE please don't compromise to a lower requirement.
Who ever heard of a person becoming a master jet-fighter or 747 engineer without a phenomenal investment of time, money, and resources?
Shipwright is by far the easiest profession to grind *if* you have the resources.
Resource gathering sucks, but at least the stuff you make is useful al the way through and you are not stuck grinding out junk.
I did the actual crafting grind in about 1.5 hours, without a marco. The only real time consumption is the mining.
200K? Thats it... I swore it used to be higher then that...

In my day, we had to grind everything by hand, up hill both ways, in a snowstorm! Forget grinding chassis! We ground Mark 1 blaster, and we liked it!

You get an insane amount of XP for crafting Starships based upon the amount of resources that go into those schematics.
If you have a large enough pile of resources available, you can get that 200k in under an hour.
Show me another profession that can fill its master box in under an hour, from start to finish?

OK... Am I missing something here? When did Shipwrights become a combat profession?
I see all the combat professions have a new 1 or 2 million xp to get master, but Shipwright is a frickingCRAFTING profession.
I don't see Artisans or Droid Engineers requiring 200k xp to get master... I dont see Chefs or Entertainer Profs requiring xp...
So I ask WHY!!!!!!! Shipwright has a long hard grind as it is.
The addition of this bogues 200k is just another reason for people to leave the game.
PLEASE *On knees begging* PLEASE fix this and get rid of this 200k.
