If you don't want to make stuff for yourself or guildies I wouldn't bother with thisdead profession.

Pick up armorsmith instead.

They're making 600,000 to over 1 million credits profit per suit !

as everyone pointed out already, you can master SW in 3 hours. Thats what I did the minute I picked up the expansion and logged in. I already had the resources purchased. Trust me, combat professions didnt have XP till the CU. There IS a non-combat upgrade in the works. They will change too.

the ONLY profession simpler to master than this is Architect, and ill say that for the sole reason i could drop an architect trainer in town right outside my house and never go more than 50 meters to train LOL. as it is you wanna cry about hard grinding when200k xp = 5 teir4 ship chassis try doing BE, 105xp a piece for EVERYTHING you make on practice mode, only like 5500 combines from novice to master.......and that doesnt count the time having to hunt down the organic resources eitehr

In my day, we had to grind everything by hand, up hill both ways, in a snowstorm! Forget grinding chassis! We ground Mark 1 blaster, and we liked it!

You forgot to add: Hand sampling for all the resources required on Dathomir in the middle of a Night Sister Elder spawn that killed you with force lighting and let there Ancient Gnarled Rancors chewed on our bodies.

if you have enough exp points to max out mass on the chassis you could try making the new high mass TIE, Z-95 and Syck fighters. You will need to get mass to 95k but atleast you will recover your profit. It takes 1k iron asteroid and 1k petrochemical asteroid as well as xwing level std resources.

I built the Z-95 last night and flew it around.. its like flying a95k massAwing and handles just as well. I managed to shoe-horn an RE level 6 reward engine, an RE'd level 4 reward booster, the RE level 8 reward shield gen (2555 front/back 18 recharge), a RE level 6 capacitor 1048 charge 44 recharge, plus mark 2 armor plating, sensor decoys, and a missle tube. Aside from looking like a z-95 (its the humpback whale of the pre-xwing class) it handles very well and you can put some amazing parts on it.

this would give you a way to grind and sell at the same time making yourself a profit.

I left the game as a 4/4/4/4 SW. When I came back after the CURB, with Dbl XP it took me about 10 min to get thefor master.

What is the big deal?

Just craft a few chassis.

So I ask WHY!!!!!!! Shipwright has a long hard grind as it is.

The addition of this bogues 200k is just another reason for people to leave the game.

Day 1: October 27, 2004. I grinded the whole profession in about 3 hours and made a lot of cash back by selling what I made during the grind at 4 cpu. Only Squad Leader was easier.
