Are FS experimentation and assembly etc used for SW crafting or not?
if it is not I think it should be.

Which is the way it should be. No FS XP Conversion and no FS Bonuses.

Only the jedi wannabes that want the easiest path to jedi possible and then when they get jedi they will go "Hmmm I used SW to get FS xp and I got my jedi.... HEY I WANT JEDI BONUSES IN SPACE!!!"

This is off topic but the thred it off topic sorry
this is comming form a true non FS Shipwright. I reroled my character 2 weeks before JTL went live. I think thay should not add FS converson for a few weeks and when thay do make it to where Ship Crafting XP does not count. I know this is extreme but I dont want the debocle that it would cause to have SW convert to FS. The true SW would not be able to find a single Resource vendor with items on it that thay need as the JEDI grinders would just buy it all up. The market would be floaded with a ton of ships and conponents that the grinder does not even care about. In general it would cause more problems then it would help. Or even better make it count but meke it 40 or 50 to 1 ratio.
just keep it from being a fast way to get there XP is all

It seems to be working for me. I have the experimentation line and get 2 to 3 amazing successes almost everytime I craft a SW component... I never get amazings that often with my Armorsmith. I usually have to craft 5-10 layers to hit a full bar amazing with him.

Get over your Jedi envy and move on. Have you been beaten by a Jedi or what. These are not Jedi skills, but FS skills used for enhancing your normal character. I like the FS skills because they give you something more trying to achieve.
Devs have said that there are no plans ATM that Jedi will have any benefits in space.
Using crafting to get Jedi is the worst path you could take. I am pretty sure 99% of all people who take the FS crafting skills (which is not a Jedi skill but used for enhancing your normal character) do it because they want some benefits asa crafter. Doing combat/reflex and even senses line is a much cheaper and faster way to get to Jedi if that is what you want.
SW should convert to FS Crafting XP just like any other crafting profession. Conversion rate should probably be pretty high since it is even easier than architect to get XP. Also since you can make decent chassis even as non-master it should not be a profitable way to grind XP and at same time destrroy market.
But getting a bit of "free" XP is nice.

I get the samething and I have zero FS crafting bonuses. Almost always get amazing successes with SW compared to other crafting professions.
One thing you have to consider is what kind of tool, station, and if your in a town that gives bonuses also.

yes, please please please add this, then the jedi-monkeys can spend all their time travelling back and forth converting to fs skills since shipwright caps out at 300k.

Well, I would have to say for me that the FS Force Crafting is working as a Master Shipwright. I have both the full trees of FS Experimentation and FS Assembly.
I use a 14.94 rated hand tool, a 44.39 crafting station, and I craft in a city with a research bonus. If I make 10 crafts/experiments on a component I get probably 8 out of 10 amazing successes. I always only experiment one box at a time. The amazing successes certainly do make a difference on the final stats.

I have a master FS crafter alt, and I am 4/4/3/3 shipwright I get at least 2 amazing success almost every time I craft, I have had 7 in a row on a chassis, so I think it helps ALOT, its doesnt give you more points to craft with just makes everything at max stats, if u have great resources ofcourse.
