I want to know how some of you can even think this? I can get a whole line inone week of fighting. So how would we be any different than someone that can kill so fast?

The village is set so you can do one box every three weeks so no matter what we all advance at the same rate. To use that as an excuse is lame at best. Everyone is locked in at the same rate. How one can say we would make jedi faster than anyone else is not really thinking about how it works.

I can finish a tree in FS in combat in a week. Now I have to wait two more weeks for my next tree. Wow it seems I am moving sooo fast. No matter what I do I still will not make jedi till Feb.

NO ONE CAN MOVE FASTER BY MAKING MORE XP. IT IS A SET RATE FOR EVERYONE TO PREVENT JUST THE CASE YOU ARE USING AS AN EXCUSE.

Especially considering you get XP for Gungan heads! LOL. Architects make tons of FS XP.

Architects have a 35 to 1 Structure Crafting XP to FS Xp ratio because of gungan heads.

Each gungan head takes 3000 total resources (ore/gems) and gives just over 5000 Structure crafting xp on practice.

Architects are actually better off grinding out walls not on practice and using them in stuff that will sell.

Architects also have very little use for FS crafting skills. They don't suffer resource loss on critical failed assemblies. Assembly percentage and experimentation matters on 5% of the things they can make. They repair nothing. Technique?

If they allow Shipwright XP to convert to FS xp I would think it would fall in the 35-50 to 1 ratio.

The other professions all have more favorable ratios than architect with less total resource requirements.

If someone wants to get the FS XP, all they have to do is grind up a bit through architect. One line of artisan, which you can blast through in about 45 mins total, and then what... two boxes in architect? I should have made that plainer in my earlier post, but this is what I was getting at. Get all the crafting FS XP you need, then drop architect and artisan and move on to the others.

hehe do the math...unless you have more resources than god this will not be the fast track to enlightenment...by my rough calculations it would take 3.7 million in resources just to get the first box of a single tree....and once you get to jedi i imagine you will wish you ground out cambat and reflex...just my opinion though

Wouldn't be any harder than in the old holo days. Easy easy.

I have been an architect for over a yeah and now the reality of obaining resoueces...and i am telling you grinding gungan heads to get to jedi is about the most expensive grind a person could try to undertake...not to mention the fact the the cap for structure crafting is only 250K for that mean you may as well declare residence in forceville if you are going to attempt this...:-)

Obviously he's never PLAYED an architect.

Master Artisan is the fastest path to FS grinding, bar none. Set those swoops on practice mode and see what happens.

Oh, FS crafting matters more to architects who produce harvs than you may think. I can hit 139k storage now with 12 points. ONE TIME I hit 150k storage on 3 amazing successes. My counterpart that has FS Assembly and Experimentation is regularly getting 3 amazing successes now. I have standing orders for ANY harvs with 150k storage going for 200k per.

Should master Shipwright tonight and when I get the template set will grind the FS Experimentation column (which I opened) to start testing.

The reason people dont want there to be a FS conversion rate for Shipwright is that for each tier 4 ship we get 20k Shipwright EXP W/O PRACTICE MODE!!

Now unless you make the conversion rate like 300-1 then you will be getting all the rich players grinding the first tree of Shipwright and making mass numbers of chassis and flooding the market.

A flood of chassis is actualy bad for pilots. Yes pilots would get there chassis from dirt cheep FS grinders BUT, the price of components would skyrocket so shipwrights could actualy make money.

Imagen 50-100CPU components if you will. Then tell me if you still want a FS conversion factor.

Then why can you not do the math to see how crazy your statements are about architect being the best to grind?

do you think there would be mass numbers of people using shipwright to grind FS if the ratio was high enough? I don't think anyone is suggesting that it be otherwise. they got it right for other high rate xp professions like architect/medic, i'm sure they can do it right for shipwright...

Hey if someone manages to get thier hands on the supplies they will be able to flood the market all the same just to put others out of business. You think they would not do it go look at weapons and armor. If you are not rich you do not last in that. Shipwrights will be outright broke in a hurry. I know a master that spent 10mil just on ore alone to master. Let us say that people make chassis dirt cheap. So what word will only spread so far. Let's say he drives his prices up on parts does not mean the rest of us have to follow his lead. If we are just as good as that person but cheaper guess who will get the cash?

Yes I still want my FS conversion yes. I do not have the points or cash to waste on architect. JTL is still too young to be making good money other than climbing out of the whole in my wallet from making things early on. Why should I get another profession to do what I should be able to do in this one?
