Well they use every other profession, it would only be fair.

Why should we be punished? We use skill points and the resource cost to grind SW will keep it from being efficient to master SW just for grind purposes.

No decay + uber loot = /spit on crafters

Fix the economy and give crafters their $$$ worth... give us real revamp.

Remember... to Cancel you have to go to Register Expansion in the Launchpad.

They scale the experience to force experience conversion based on how easy/hard it is to get. Considering that shipwright only gets 1/4 the experience per resource compared to any other crafting profession, I don't think it's that much of a problem anyways.

and by the way I don't need FS exp to grind Jedi because I couldn't care less about it, but it would be nice to get those crafting mastery skills and I ain't gonna craft millions of swoop in practice mode to get them (master artisan, master merchant, master shipwright medic 4040)

as far as i know they dont get 20k xp for crafting something. There are a few players that are on each server that could do it if they wanted to, that have enough resources to do it.

You get 21k exp for making an A-Wing, so don't say that you don't get 20k xp for crafting somethign and it's like 35k xp for making a B-Wing sure the resource cost is high for a B-Wing and A-Wing. If you had either the resources or the money you can master Shipwright in a day. I master it in 3 days because the first two days thier was a shortage on Steel

Plus not every profession can convert The mayor of my city can't convert Polictican Exp. besides if they did implement a conversion it might be 100 to 1 or even higher.

Political XP is convertible (sense xp). The only XP I know for a fact is not convertible is Industrialst XP and Shipwright.

If they give shipwrights the ability, the pilots will clamor forever to get THEIR xp convertable.

The Devs have tried to separate JTL from the ground game as much as possible. Adding this would give the "Jedi should have special skills in space" people a leg up to start campaigning again, plus the pilots would want conversion ratios (one was calling for the same 3:1 ratio as combat xp, for God's sake).

The rallying cry would be: "If you can convert JTL xp to FS xp, then there's no reason that Jedi and FS people shouldn't have special starship skills!"

Don't open that door.

Pilot costs ZERO skill points. that's a completely different issue.

There should be a conversion. Why would a SW's time be any less valuable in the ways of the force? If there is an issue with it, make it a steeper conversion like architect.
