Excellent guide..
I did find one thing to add.
Ixiyen: 60k Resources - level 3 cert - 70k mass <---- This mass only applies to Style 1 Ixiyens.
Style 2,3, and 4 Ixiens have 80K Mass,
This is good news if its true!! I've been using the Dunelizard. I'm 3/3/3/3 Almost ready for a tier 4 box. Been wondering what is the diffrence between a cert1 Dunelizard and a cart 3 Ixiyen since they have the same mass and load out?? Why makes the Ixiyen a cert 3?? Manuverability??
Another thing..What does the Overload Generator do for privateers?? Havn't found a use for it yet. Do i have to load more components to go over my max energy output in order to use this ability??
Any help is appreciated.
Thanx

What about repair modules,
I see where the looted items can be repaired but I do not have the correct repair tool. So where do I get the repair tool?
My chassis is in poor shape and I have no engines or reactors to get into space, does that mean I have to buy a new ship to loot items or hope to find a Ship Wright that has components for sale. ....
My main gripe is that you can only find blue prints and no supporting items for sale by any shipwrights....

The way I understand it , Shipwrights also make repair tools for ship parts, but they are seprate tools for each part, such as an engine repair tool, a booster repair tool, etc.. And the tool seems to come with like 500+ uses that ive seen but this means it will repair the damaged component for as many points as it takes. For example, tool has say,538 uses, part is damaged 200 from 500. This wil leave about 300 uses left on the tool.

I like the guide but what I would really like to know (maybe I missed it but I didn't see it in my searches) is what do all the numbers for different components mean. I have been really struggling because the weapons seem very poor in comparison to my starter ship...

Thanks a bunch for the help. Really useful for us just starting out with JTL.
However, I'm still confused about some things, and I hope maybe some of the Shipwrights on here can help. I bought myself my first Dunelizard (a Style 2, although I had no idea what that meant, more on that later), and some components that cost me a fair price each time as I tried to go for the best I could find. I launched into space and it was like driving an arthritic slug. I promptly got shot down by a couple of Z95s I couldn't even see because my turning radius was about 3 parsecs wide.
First of all, I'd like to echo what a lot of people have asked for already: some explanation of the stats for components. Took me hours yesterday zooming around Tattooine, visiting different component vendors, but not knowing what was good or not until I'd visited a few and bought myself a load of stuff to compare. What are good numbers and what are bad numbers, for example? Is a yaw rate of 0.69 good, or does it blow?
Second, does the name have any impact on performance, ie is there a tiered system between the Kuat, Sorosuub, Corellian Cruiser Grade, Military Grade, etc., etc., components?
Thirdly, an explanation of each Style of ship would be most beneficial. I've just checked the image dumps of the different styles, and it's certainly gotten me more confused than before if anything.
And lastly, is there a degree of difference between looted items and crafted items? If I buy a Kuat Mark I Engine, would it be different in any other way other than from what I can tell from the stats from a looted Kuat Mark I Engine?
Trust SOE to release a whole expansion but not provide any documentation. Relying on word of mouth and trial and error seems a bit weak to me.

I Play on Ahazi. With current resources my neutral ship builds are 20 to 40% greater max mass then the guide lists. I put my average masses in RED below. Maybe i am missing something but my master level super group ships are 5,000K mass not 500k. 4,990k min to 5015k max. Nova and Decimators also are of this mass.
