Alright folks, I need three things tested... first two are directly from the bug list that may or may not have been fixed :


  • Armour Reinforcement Panel factory runs do not appear in the Output hopper. They appear to be there (take up inventory), but cannot be seen or picked up.
    This item seems to be included in the November 4th patch, waiting for confirmation that it works before removing it from this list.

  • Shipwright trainers do not show up in the proper place on the overhead map, nor when using /find
    *WORKAROUND: They are often found at the entrance to the starport.*

  • Last thing is Droid Speed. It is now possible that droid speed is working right (although experimentation is now reversed), so go out there and test your Droid Interfaces and answer the following question: Are command response times faster when the Droid Speed number is higher, or when it is lower?

    It appears than different styles of the same ship have different mass limits. There is a 10K differnce between the style 1 and 2 Ixyen, for instance.

    Nova Courier, .799 speed modifier

    It is pretty confusing, however here is how it should be working (I'm looking for anyone who has tested this). Lower "speed" values should be better.

    Yep, I just crafted a MK1 droid interface this morning. It now has a speed of 33 (at around 500 mass). The MK5 interface I crafted had a speed of 13 (max experimentation), and a mass of over 15k.


    All those MK1 interfaces we crafted with a 14 speed and 500 mass are going to be worth millions of credits.

    Ok, then the bugs section of this guide needs to be updated to reflect this, and to reflect that while crafting Droid interfaces is now working properly, reverse engineering droid interfaces currently makes them worse. I don't know about you, but I am going to stop RE'ing Droid Interfaces until this is fixed (hopefully soon).

    Done... updated and added a FAQ question to make it more clear:



  • What is better higher numbers or lower numbers?
    On components: Mass, Reactor Drain, Energy/Shot, Refire Rate, Consumption, and Droid Speed are better lower, everything else you want big.

    Great Guide! My numbers are the same as yours for the resource amounts(thats alot of stuff!).Hopefully this guide will help those who want to get into shipwright to see how difficult it is.
