Click the price guide in sig to see what we are up to. We just adjusted prices and I fearit may be too low. Before the price cut I couldn't keep stocked.

Double it and it would be fair. Fair is what the customer is willing to pay.
Ignore the guy, if they sell for 6k on the bazaar why didn't he buy one there and not bust your chops? If they do sell for that amount on the bazaar, buy every one you can get and resell them yourself.

We have a guy on chimaera selling A-wings for 200k, basic chassis for 10k, mk1 comps 1k upto mk4 comps for 4k. How are the rest of us supposed to compete with that? 2.5cpu for an A-wing is ludricous. Maybe he thinks he'll corner the market or something.
Whos gonna wanna buy ships at a more than reasonable 4 cpu when they can get them off this fella for 2.5cpu?. It only takes one person to spoil it for the rest

Very true. I'd also question the quality of the components too. But havent seen them yet so cant judge him on that.

Let the fool on the bazaar sell em for 6k. It only benefits you.
He is most likely a moron who is going to use the same crap resources for parts he sells for 5cpu.
Once the customer dies a dozen times before Tier 2, he'll realize his loot is better than his parts and quit buying from the guy.
Next thing ya know he finds out you sell the Uber crafted parts everyone is talking about and he comes to your shop.
He buys a set goes up and flies around, lives through all his missions and says WOW.
You now have a customer til Master. Treat him well, teach him the ins and outs (which you better know for all 3 Pilot Professions and each ship type) and he will not leave. Service with a smile. Ask them questions too, a lot of them. Make sure you learn what they need and remember that the next time a similar customer comes in. You have over 15 ships you need to know the details about what fits, what doesn't, why, how to handle a mission. All pluses to a good shipwright.
Just learn your profession, learn what works, make the right parts custom made for each ship, profession, pilot or whatnot and you will succeed.
A customer with you from Novice to Master at 20cpu for parts and 5cpu for chasis is worth 10million credits easy.
The 6k guy just has 6k plus the 1k a part he's probly charging.

Time to lay off the pipe, there. 500K - 490K = 10K credits. A Tier 3 ship chassis requires 60K units of resources. Please tell me where you are getting your resources for .16 cpu. I need the waypoint to that vendor!

He's talking about the fact that a set of Y-Wing chassis blueprints requires 15K units of resources to make, so he's undercutting even his stated price of 1cpu @ 12K credits. Even if you could get the resources at a cost of 1 cpu on the open market, which you cant, you would get no profit from selling at 15K and would lose money at 12K for a Y-Wing Chassis. Are you even a ShipWright?
