Usually when I make shields they end up at 59% w/out and 61% with buffs. Today I got 59% with buffs.
Anyone else had similar experiences?
Also a ton more modest 6 good successes on experimenting.
Yes, having problems with experimentation myself. Pre-patch I was getting my Quickshot Upgrades to 100% refire, now I'm only getting 92% maximum (with buff and same resources).

I think it could be more related to "CD" being required in the final assembly of a shield generator.
I've not heard anything back from the dev side on this , but I've passed on all the info I've found.

There's definitely a problem here.
My Mark V Engine Overdriver schematic from the time before inspiration buffs is better than my new schematic - which uses better steel and an inspiration buff.
Before Inspiration buff, with cd 692 (100%) / oq 907 steel = Speed: 14.81088
With Inspiration buff, with cd 810 (100%) / oq 971 steel = Speed: 14.702355
Edit - Oh and of course the same Fermionic Ore was used in both.

Odd, I had the same "Limo Dark Glass" effect with my Nova. I could see the brackets around other ships and stuff, but no vis...
oh, oh.
Time to go the Pilot's Forum and see what's up there.

From everyone's input it is looking like maybe CD could be the issue. Every component both ours and some others that I've read about having the problem, seem to have CD in common. Anyone else see this ?

I have noticed the %'s being up to 20% off and yes the ones i am refering to are using CD as stat
Just to add a point.
I'm making a set of Elite parts for my POB and I am using "Eceulan" Hardened Steel (1000oq 997cd) and getting 97% exp successes here and there.
997 cd ismaking conductivity based stats go through the roof.
Any word from the devs on this? I've basically halted all Elite component production since everything but armor depends on CD, and I can't really ask my customers to spend 250k per part when the stats will improve shortly.
If the devs give us a, "working as intended", I am gonna be pissed though.
The problem looks like the CD cap for steel being removed. At least I have been able to track the bug down with a Mark V Engine Overdriver (2500 good resources down the drain
